Bachelor Pad Brings Shocking Results and Hook Ups ~ Episode 3- 8/23/2010

Renee Bagley
On tonight's episode of Bachelor Pad the remaining contestants go on overnight dates in Las Vegas, participate in a high-speed chase for immunity, and two more people are eliminated.

Last week weatherman and Gia won the pie eating contest. Gia promised the rose to Craig, but ended up not following through on her promise. It resulted in Craig and Jessie being sent home. Jessie and Craig had made an alliance with Gia. Bad mistake. Gia had formed a plan to send Kiptyn home, but changed her mind. And then blamed it all on Nikki. Come on Gia, don't call her out if you don't want to be called out. Gia was a flat out liar when she told Kiptyn tonight that she did not rally the women to send him home. She did, we all saw it. Not sure why she would lie. I guess she wanted to $250,000 more than she wanted friendship.

Natalie told the cameras that she would make kiss every guy in the house, and make out with everyone in the house, for "like $20 bucks". What? Yes, really that is what she said. Money is needed in society, but come on. Money is not everything, it isn't worth whoring yourself out over. There I said it. I understand that everyone on the show is there to win money, so they don't have to form alliances, but respect for yourself is very necessary in life. Too bad Natalie is likely to learn this lesson the hard way. Next week's previews show it all coming to a head for her. Natalie needs a dose of reality so that she can learn to have a little respect for herself, and giving herself to others.

With Gia and Nikki not following through on their promises, I expect one of them to be sent home tonight. Unless they win immunity. And now they all want to get the immunity, because no one is safe. One guy and one girl will win immunity, and they will not be sent home.

Crowned Best Kissers:
A kissing competition was to be their challenge. I had to laugh at such a silly challenge. Of course, even this was too hard for Tenley (who laughed throughout forcing guys to kiss her teeth) and Gia (who is always crying and playing people against each other). They both need a little mental learning, both are very weak and overly passive women. Beautiful, but disasters.

Which reminds me of Elizabeth, except she is a very strong player, and less a backstabber than Gia. I know, surprising huh? Elizabeth is crazy, but at least she knows what she wants, and knows how to get it. She does have a strong mind. Unfortunately in the ways of getting what she want, she isn't afraid to pull a Natalie.

The women voted David as the best kisser, the men voted Peyton as the best. That made them both safe from elimination, and they got to chose one person to go on a date with, and save from elimination.

Dates:
David chose Nikki, Krisily, and Natalie for his Las Vegas date. He called his choices strategy. David is 28-years-old and from Jillian's season. Of course it didn't take Natalie long to latch on him, or anyone else for that matter. Krisily developed a school girl crush on him. But, David couldn't keep his eyes off of Natalie, especially once she took off her top in the pool. Quickly they were back in the suite, and Chris Harrison had left a note for David. The note said it was time to pick one girl to save from elimination.

In the end he saved Natalie, and that said a lot about him. Not in a good way either. He went for the girl who admitted that she would make out with the entire house for money. Big shocker. Soon after they found another note that said they could spend the night together in the fantasy suite. And they did, of course Natalie is always up for it, apparently. With anyone, except Jonathon, the weatherman.

Peyton choose Kovacs, Kiptyn, and Jessie B. For her date. All three guys have already formed relationships with at least one girl on the show. I smell trouble. I don't blame Peyton for choosing the guys she most felt a connection with.

Hooking up with a guy or girl on the show is not a good idea in my mind. This is a show to win money, not to whore yourself out (yes, I am talking to you Natalie). Regardless Peyton's date with the guys went well. They had their date at the race track. And Jessie was using his good looks to win over Peyton. Kiptyn let Peyton know that he and Tenley are not dating. Peyton gave the rose to Jessie and together they spent the night in the fantasy suite. Unlike the other couple, Peyton has standards though, and probably didn't get intimate. Although they are really into each other.

Couples:
Elizabeth was jealous that her "man" Kovacs was on a date with Peyton. While Tenley was very jealous and teary-eyed over Kiptyn being on the date as well.

Gia admitted if she wasn't in a relationship with a guy from back home, that Wes is the one who would tempt her. Wes worked hard to win over Gia, even singing and playing the guitar to win her heart. He sings like Clint Black, but looks a lot better.

Roses:
Natalie got the rose from David. Peyton gave her rose to Jessie B. Again, not a surprise, and who could blame her. He is gorgeous and a great guy. And Peyton was given the chance to stay in the fantasy suite with Jessie b. Gee, wonder what she will do. And yes, they did spend the night together, but unlike Natalie she isn't such an easy conquest. Jessie called her someone that would make a good wife one day, and I agree. She is a nice girl.

Saved in order:
Ashley, Kiptyn, Tenley, Nikki, Gwyn, Wes, Krisily, and Kovacs. There was a tie between Elizabeth and Gia, so David, as the winner of the challenge got to be the deciding vote. David saved Elizabeth, and she was shocked. Gia has a man back home, so I think he made the right decision. David did not like the Wes, who is in love with Gia, tried to make him vote against Elizabeth, so that Gia could stay. Wes is the same guy who had four girlfriends when he went on the Bachelor. How funny is it that now he is all devoted to a complete stranger? I think he just wanted to get lucky with her, but guess we will never know.

Who was sent home?
Gia and Jonathon were both sent home. I'm surprised the weather man made it this far, and Gia coming onto the show while being in a relationship, was just a bad idea from the get-go.

Next week's episode of Bachelor Pad brings the drama, so stay tuned for more updates!
