Bachelorette Party Cocktails & Mixed Drinks

A bachelorette party, or hens night (called by women in the UK, Ireland, and Australia) or stagette (called by women in Canada) is a party thrown by women for a bride-to-be. The party can take place anywhere from a couple months to a day before the wedding. The premise of the party is to have a "last night out" before jumping into marriage or it can be thought of as a rite of passage to become a wife. Alcoholic beverages are usually involved. With that said, here is a list of the best cocktail and mixed drinks to serve to your bride-to-be, friends and family.

Maiden's Blush

1 ½ oz Dark Rum
1 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit
3 tsp Powder Sugar
1 dash Bitters
1 squeezed Lime

Add all ingredients into a shaker.
Shake well and strain into a 4 ounce cocktail glass.

Southern Bride

2 ½ oz Gin
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
Dash of Grenadine

Pour ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Little Red Teddy

750 ml Champagne or Sparkling Cider
16 oz Cranberry Juice
4 oz Cointreau

Pour all chilled ingredients into a pitcher.
Immediately serve in champagne flutes.

Sexy Devil

½ oz Dry Vermouth
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Absolut Kurant

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass.
Pour drink into a chilled cocktail glass.

Black Lace

2 oz Black Sambuca
1 oz Crème De Banana
1 oz Peach Schnapps
½ squeezed Lemon

Pour liquid ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Wild Love

1 shot Tequila
½ shot White Rum
1 ½ shots De Kuyper Wild Strawberry
Top with Orange Juice
1 squeezed Lemon

Fill a highball glass with ice.
Pour (build) ingredients in glass in the following order: De Kuyper Wild Strawberry, Tequila, White Rum, orange juice, and squeezed lemon.
Do not stir.
Garnish with a strawberry

Satin Sheets

1 ½ oz Light Rum
1 ½ oz Brandy
Splash of Cointreau
Splash of Roses Lime Juice

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a 3 ounce cocktail glass.

Sex

1 part Kahlua
1 part Grand Marnier

Pour ingredients into a mixing glass.
Serve in a chilled lowball glass.

Sexy Wiggles

1 oz Strawberry Liqueur
1 oz White Rum
7-Up, Sprite or Ginger Ale

Pour Strawberry Liqueur and White Rum in a mixing glass.
Pour into a glass with ice cubes.
Fill the rest of the glass with 7-Up, Sprite or Ginger Ale.
Garnish with a strawberry.

All Night Long

½ shot De Kuyper Cherry Brandy
½ shot De Kuyper Crème De Cassis
Top with Orange Juice
½ squeezed Lemon

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Shake and strain into a highball glass half filled with ice.
Garnish with a slice of orange.

Between the Sheets

½ oz. Brandy
½ oz. Triple Sec
½ oz. Light Rum
¼ squeezed Lemon

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

Little Princess

30 ml of White Rum
30 ml of Sweet Vermouth Pour ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker.
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a couple of cherries.

Love Passion

4 oz Passion Fruit Liquor
1 splash of Cranberry Juice
1 splash of Lemon Juice
Club Soda

Pour ingredients into a highball glass with ice.
Top with Club Soda and stir.
Garnish with a cherry.

Pink Pussy

60 ml Vodka
30 ml Ginger Lime Syrup
Bitter Lemon
7-Up of Sprite
Pour half of the Vodka over ice in a highball glass.
Pour Ginger Lime Syrup, then the rest of the Vodka.
Top with Bitter Lemon and 7-Up or Sprite.
