Recap of Ali's Phone Call to Jake

Ali Calls Jake on This Week's Bachelor Episode But in Real Life is Dating Again
It's been rumored the Bachelor and Facebook sales rep. Ali has a new boyfriend in Silicon Valley. Would love to speculate if it's Four Hour Work Week guru Tim Ferriss or Digg CEO Kevin Rose. But that's just wild speculation with absolutely no basis in fact, just mere cyber dating hints for Ali. After all, if there are reality celebrity shows about people in rehab or stuffing them all in a house or dancing, why isn't there a Silicon Valley celebrity edition of The Bachelor, where wealthy but handsome geek-inaires woo Ali.

Recap of Ali's Phone Call to Jake
So here's a recap of Ali's painful phone call to Jake where he gives her an unsympathetic brush-off.

"I Made The Wrong Choice."
Jake doesn't sound too enthusiastic when he hears Ali's voice on the end of the line and on Ali's end of the telephone, it's a voice of regret and a conversation filled with heavy sighs "I want to come back. I would really hate to think that because of my fear and my mistake we would never find out if we were really a match."

"Who Would I Send Home to Have You Back."
With Ali wanting to come back, he's faced with the dilemma of who to swap out of the girlie line-up and the silent unspoken words that Ali doesn't actually utter is "Send Vienna" home while the rest of us are yelling at Jake "You num-num, come on" in the meantime his unshaven face is all scrunched up and confused"The problem is, when you left, it's really forced me to put what I felt for you aside and Ali, I can honestly tell you, I'm further along with these three women here and I don't know who I would send home to have you back?"

"What's Best For Us."
Ali puts forward her best case, "I'm biased but I think giving us a shot is what's best for you, for us and I can say now, are my feelings the same for you as the day I left, no they're not, they're so much stronger now

"I Just Don't Think It's a Good Idea"
Jake looks like he's about to cry. While some people have good gut feelings, Jake continually looks to his heart but I think he's really just a slave to his hormones and a bit of honor in playing a game by the rules and trying to keep things fair and has gone out of his way to ensure Vienna has more than a fair shot at competing for his attention.

Jake Lets Ali Down Again
He then gives Ali the brush-off "Everything about you makes me want to say get on a plane and get here right now and I'm falling in love with these women that are here. Ali, I just have to go with my heart. I know what it's telling me, I know exactly what it's telling me. I just don't think it's a good idea. That hurts me like crazy to say that to you but I just don't think it's a good idea.

Sure this Bachelor episode we get to see Jake shirtless but it's excruciating to have to watch Vienna's insincere flirty moves. Will Jake end up with Vienna in the end? If it's any indication, ABC didn't even bother with releasing a video clip of anything with Tenley so it's like she's not even that important enough to the Bachelor story line to warrant an upload. Until next week...
