3. Kansas City Chiefs- Actual Pick: Tyson Jackson.
2009 Redraft- Kansas City select outstanding offensive tackle Michael Oher to protect Matt Cassel's "blindside" and establish a potent pair of offensive line bookends, along with 2008 first-rounder Branden Albert, for the foreseeable future.
4. Seattle Seahawks- Actual Pick: Aaron Curry.
2009 Redraft- Seattle selects the best defensive player in the draft, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Brian Cushing. The former USC Trojan compiled an impressive 133 total tackles, 4 sacks, and 4 interceptions as likely the most valuable player on the Texans' defense in 2009.
5. Cleveland Browns- Actual Pick: Trade 5th pick to Jets, Jets select Mark Sanchez.
2009 Redraft- Trade 5th pick and 3rd round pick to Jaguars. The Browns deal down to the desperate Jaguars, who select rookie Pro Bowler Brian Orakpo. Orakpo recorded 11 sacks, the Jaguars' entire defense produced a paltry total of 14 sacks in 2009.
6. Cincinnati Bengals- Actual Pick: Andre Smith.
2009 Redraft- The Bengals bolster an improved defense by selecting talented tackler, James Laurinaitis, who ranked 4th in the league with 107 solo tackles.
7. Oakland Raiders- Actual Pick: Darius Heyward Bey.
2009 Redraft- The Raiders front-office performs the unthinkable and stubbornly selects blazing "bust" Darius Heyward-Bey, again. The former Terrapin recorded a pathetic 9 receptions in 2009, but Al Davis loves his speed.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars- Actual Pick: Eugene Monroe.
2009 Redraft: The Browns desperately need more playmakers and the explosive Offensive Rookie of the Year, Percy Harvin, fortunately falls to them at the #8 selection after trading down from the 5th spot.
9. Green Bay Packers- Actual Pick: B.J. Raji.
2009 Redraft- Clay Matthews' encouraging rookie season forces the Packers' hand with the #9 selection.
10. San Francisco 49ers- Actual Pick: Michael Crabtree.
2009 Redraft- Crabtree performed brilliantly on the field for the 'Niners, after tenuous contract negotiations, garnering a repeat selection at 10th in the 2009 NFL Redraft.
11. Buffalo Bills- Actual Pick: Aaron Maybin.
2009 Redraft- Buffalo selects Jairus Byrd. The Bills' rookie star surprisingly tied for the league lead in interceptions with 9.
12. Denver Broncos- Actual Pick: Knowshon Moreno.
2009 Redraft- Denver sticks with a running back for the future; however, Shonn Greene's playoff showcase entices Josh Daniels to pick Greene instead of Moreno.
13. Washington Redskins- Actual Pick: Brian Orakpo.
2009 Redraft- Washington selects offensive tackle Eben Britton, who arguably peformed as well as any NFL rookie road-grater in 2009.
14. New Orleans Saints- Actual Pick: Malcolm Jenkins.
2009 Redraft- New Orleans drafts the versatile cornerback, Jacob Lacey, who totaled an impressive 85 tackles and 3 interceptions for the Indianapolis Colts.
15. Houston Texans- Actual Pick: Brian Cushing.
2009 Redraft- In spite of Cushing, Laurinaitis, and Matthews no longer available, the Texans stick with the linebacker selection strategy and pick run-stuffer, Rey Mauluga.
16. San Diego Chargers- Actual Pick: Larry English.
2009 Redraft- San Diego drafts LT's long-term replacement, by selecting Knowshon Moreno.
17. New York Jets- Actual Pick: Buccaneers (from Jets through Browns) select Josh Freeman.
2009 Redraft Pick- After trading down from the 2nd spot, St. Louis selects the mammoth Phil Loadholt to aid Steven Jackson and the Rams' ground game.
18. Chicago Bears- Actual Pick: Broncos (from Bears) select Robert Ayers.
2009 Redraft- Jay Cutler desperately needs a physical, big-play target and Hakeem Nicks fits the Redraft bill perfectly.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Actual Pick- Eagles (from Bucs through Browns) select Jeremy Maclin.
2009 Redraft- Tampa Bay trades the 19th pick for the Eagles' 21st selection and 5th round pick. Philadelphia, promptly selects deep-threat Jeremy Maclin in a repeat of 2009.

2009 Redraft- The solid secondary play of Louis Delmas lead the Lions to pick the Western Michigan safety 14 picks earlier in the 2009 NFL Redraft, after 94 total tackles and 2 interceptions.
21. Philadelphia Eagles- Actual Pick: Browns (from Eagles) select Alex Mack.
2009 Redraft- The Buccaneers (from Philadelphia) select defensive tackle, Terrance Knighton, who led all rookie defensive linemen with 45 total tackles.
22. Minnesota Vikings- Actual Pick: Percy Harvin.
