Back to the Future

Back to the Future is a fun family film from the 80s that still continues to entertain new generations today. With screenwriter Bob Gale, director Robert Zemeckis, and producer Steven Spielberg, back to the future is a very exciting film the whole family can sit and enjoy together. Despite being almost thirty years old, it is still very easy to understand and follow for even very young audiences.

Back to the future is about time travel, a seventeen year old trying to find his place in the world, and a scientist who invents a car that can do time travel.

When Marty's (Michael J. Fox) eccentric old scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) is killed by a group of men who believe he has stolen something from them. Marty finds himself transported some 30 years in the past by way of Doc's time travel car. Marty ends up running into younger versions of people from the future such as his mom and dad and the neighborhood's bully's father who ironically is a bully himself. They are all his age and things start to go terribly wrong when Marty's "mom to be" starts falling for him. He takes it upon himself to try and set things straight and return to his own time early enough to save his friend Doc from being killed. All before his own future is erased.

Back to the future is followed by two sequels, Back to the Future Part ll and Back to the Future Part lll.
