We really like the idea that they do not contain any high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial flavors or preservatives. We try to limit or completely eliminate packaged food products that contain the above-mentioned ingredients. The fact that they are manufactured with organic fruits and grains is also very important to us.
Back to Nature gives allergy information on the box of Bakery Squares, which is especially important, if you cannot eat certain food items.
The squares come individually wrapped, so you can easily carry them with you for a quick snack while away from home. You can also place the squares in lunch bags for both school and work. The squares are the perfect size too.
Some nutritional information about the squares follows. There are only 130 calories per square, so you can treat yourself to something sweet and tasty without consuming lots and lots of calories. They also supply 2 grams of dietary fiber, which is good. The squares do not contain much sodium; per serving there is only 60mg. There is 0mg cholesterol and 9g of sugar per square.
We purchased the box of five squares for $1.80 at the local discount store. After visiting the company website, we saw that the Bakery Squares can be purchased online for $3.49. Since we are on a limited budget, purchasing them directly from the website is too costly for us. So, for the time being, we will go back to the local discount store and stock up on the squares, that is if they still have them for sale.
The company was started in Pasadena, California in 1960. If you would like more information about the Back to Nature brand or the Bakery Squares the following information can be helpful.
The company website is: www.backtonaturefoods.com
The company phone number is 1-866-536-6946.
It is nice to know that Back to Nature will refund your purchase price (up to $5.00) if you do not like one of their products. Simply send them 1 UPC from any Back to Nature product along with the dated receipt.
For more information regarding the offer and to download the necessary form to receive your money back visit:

Hopefully, when we go shopping at the local discount store they will still have the Bakery Squares for sale. They were truly delicious!
