Back to School

Steven West
Back to school,
Back to school,
Time to follow the Golden Rule.
But first I'll comb my hair
So that I'm looking cool,
When I go back to school.

Got my pencils, pens, and case.
Got my tissue box to clean my face.
Got my folders, now give me space.
My brain is frying.
Oh what a waste.

I'll make new friends,
And drive my teachers crazy.
They'll look at me
And say, "How lazy."

Cafeteria will be a blast
At least until I run out of cash.
Then it's cold lunches for me
That I'll dump in the trash
When I go back to school.

Back to school,
Back to school,
Ah, forget the Golden Rule.
I'd rather act like a silly fool
When I go back to school.
