Algebra is a branch of mathematics that is the study of the rules of operations. Algebra is one of the main branches of mathematics. Algebra deals with properties of operations and the structures these operations.     Algebra is the most interesting and important branch of mathematics. We need algebra in our daily life. So, students need to learn this from the very beginning. But, unfortunately nowadays, children are very likely to avoid algebra. I don’t understand why they do so. Besides parents and school teachers, online tutors are best persons to encourage students to give attention to it. They provide 1-to-1 tutoring to the students. There are several online tutoring services available to help students across grades for a very nominal cost. Some of them specialize in math, especially algebra; for instance, tutorteddy.com.     Great info. The problem is when my son comes home with homework is going to have to find someone else to help him, math is not my strong point. These kids have homework in grade school like I had in high school.... :o)

    Excellent and timely article! My oldest is starting algebra this year. One of the things that make helping your child difficult is the fact that they tend to change teaching methods seeminly every year. Methods today are so different from what we learned that we end up confusing our child even if the answer is correct.
