Persons with bad mental health are Complainers and they have complaints for just about every aspect of their lives including: relationships, employment, co-workers, etc., etc., etc. They are full of Criticism and find fault with just about everybody and everything in their life and other's. They are Carpers who moan and nag and carry on. Another characteristic is often being Cantankerous and difficult to please.
It is common for a person with bad mental health to Haggle over most issues and want to have the last word. They are Harmful to themselves and others in many ways such as: finding fault, gossiping, making false accusations etc.
There is no doubt that someone with bad mental health can be Onery and have an irritable disposition that makes them unpredictable and frightening at times. They have a tendency to be Obnoxious and are insufferable, hateful and unbearable. It is not at all uncommon for someone with bad mental health to be Oblivious to how Obnoxious their behavior is and just how they are affecting others.
There are less obvious kinds of behaviors that someone with bad mental health can exhibit such as being Sly and Surreptitious or being quiet, cautious and secretive; trying to keep from being observed. They may seem to be trying to get others in trouble without taking the credit by being Stealthy.
This article is not meant to be a downer. It has been written to emphasize that the characteristics described are all under one's control and as such bad mental health is something someone can change by changing their behavior and attitudes. Remember what was said in the first paragraph...having bad mental health is not the same thing as having a mental illness. Having a bad attitude can be rolled and changed.
