Bad News for Jeff Probst May Mean Good for Survivor

Reality Rehash
On January 28th CBS aired Jeff Probst's reality tv show pilot "Live for the Moment". Although the show was produced under the Mark Burnett brand name, Jeff was the one running the show as he hoped it would create a new reality staple for the network. The show failed, ratings wise, and will most likely never see a full pickup or even a second episode. Although Jeff's idea and show somewhat failed and is obviously bad news for him, this could be great news for Survivor fans hoping that Jeff will renew his contract for seasons 21 and 22. As of right now Jeff's contract ended after the 20th season and he has yet to announce that he has signed on for any future seasons.

CBS has already ordered two more and with Jeff's future with Survivor somewhat unknown many have been wondering if he was waiting to see how Live for the Moment took off before deciding. Seeing that the show will most likely not be picked up, one would assume Jeff would jump back on Survivor and stay on the ride that made him famous and why he's won the only reality tv host Emmy twice. We here at Reality Rehash hope that Jeff sticks with Survivor and stays where he belongs, on the island as he's one of the main reasons I, and many fans, tune in each week to see who gets kicked off!
