Badam (Almond) Pudding: An Indian Sweet Dessert

Badam Phirni or Badam Pudding is a kind of 'kheer' like pudding made primarily with milk, rice and sugar. It is a delicious north Indian desert recipe. It is a sweet dish with but low fat ingredients.

Badam (Almond) Pudding or Badam Phirni

Ingredients

1) Milk 250 ml.

2) Rice Two Tablespoon

3) Sugar Three Tablespoon

4) Almond 200 gr.

5) Cardamom One Tablespoon

Method

1) Blanch almonds

2) Allow rice to get soaked in water fro two hours. Drain all water. Add it in a mixer and grind it into smooth paste.

3) Take a saucepan. Lit the stove. Pour milk. Boil it in sim fire. Add rice paste, sugar and crushed cardamom. Keep stirring till the ingredients get thick.

4) Remove the saucepan from stove. Add blanched and sliced almond.

5) Transfer the content in to your serving bowl.

6) Refrigerate it for one hour.

7) Sprinkle roasted nuts. Serve chill
