Bags and Shoes... Short Of

Sun Chips are hugely popular and they now come in a fantastically noisy but speedily biodegradable bag. It was a startling noise in the store and it pretty much assures that no one will be sneaking them out of the cupboard and into their own room for total selfish consumption.

I can see how people would complain about a noisy bag in the middle of a movie theater. I can see how the kid trying to steal the bag would be a little miffed that it gave him/her away. What I couldn't see was that it would become such a huge problem that the Frito-Lay Company would pull the bag and go back to the standard plastic one.

Do people not own bowls? Could they not make the snack size in the plastic bag but still be environmentally conscious with the bigger one? In the grand scheme of things I guess a few more million plastic bags is no big deal. Okay I lied of course it's a big deal.

You've got to start somewhere. You have to take little steps toward a final goal and this was that first step so why are they now back pedaling a mile? Just like we got used to cassettes after 8-tracks and CD's after that couldn't we just get used to the noisy bag? We can listen to Harley's go by and planes fly over and even kids with bass that rattle the windows but we can't bear a noisy chip bag. It's all pretty sad if you ask me.

Dancing Without Apologies:

Oh no! That judge guy from Dancing With The Stars was in an Elton John Video! Well butter my biscuits Bruno Tonioli should be tossed. There is no way a former video back up dancer should be allowed to judge a national competion. How dare he be a dancer in the eighties and make a dollar doing it? How dare he use his craft to earn a living by doing whatever it took including a cheesy now but not so much back then video with Elton. My God how could he ever deign to show his face again? Um? Hello? Elton evolved and so did Bruno. It certainly doesn't warrant the title "Wild Video Background-Dancing Past". I think Bruno should take the floor on one of the result nights and bust out some of the old moves behind guest singer Elton John.
