Bahn Thai Restaurant in Silverdale, Washington: Great Ethnic Eating!

While visiting or living in Silverdale, Washington, if you find yourself wanting to take a break and enjoy a great ethnic restaurant, look no further than the establishment known as the Bahn Thai Restaurant. There are a variety of reasons for treating yourself to what this wonderful place has to offer. Here are some:

Ambiance. The interior is very inviting and comforting. The lighting is not too bright, and not too dim - just right. There was a slight pink tint to the lighting. The tapestries located throughout the Bahn Thai Restaurant were very colorful and pretty. They were eye-catching, to say the least. And, each booth had thick, satin pillows which were very colorful and inviting. The atmosphere here was definitely a strong selling point.

Menus. The Bahn Thai Restaurant has very colorful and appealing menus, which a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The print is easy to read, with dishes described very temptingly. Prices are clearly marked, also.

Prices. Speaking of prices, all the prices are reasonable. Most of the main dishes averaged $8-10. Considering that the serving sizes were plentiful, those are great prices. My dish contained enough for two meals. I saw many take-home containers filled with leftovers that night.

Food. You can order your food based on a spice star system. The more stars, the spicier. That's nice. What I really liked about this place was the fact that the dishes contained fresh, huge chunks of vegetables and your chosen protein (i.e. chicken, seafood) The Coconut Soup with Mushrooms was excellent! Since our group sampled many items on the menu, I could test a wide variety of dishes. The Satay (chicken skewer) was tasty, and the Cashew Chicken stands out in my mind. And, the Thai Iced Tea was the best tea I have ever tasted!

Service. The service at Bahn Thai was good. Seeing that our group, once again, had over 20 people in attendance, it is surprising to me how they kept the orders straight. There were a couple times when the service could have been a little faster, but I am not complaining.

Meeting room. The Bahn Thai Restaurant can accommodate large groups, with a meeting room set-up in theback.Our group of 25 had plenty of room to have a pleasant dining experience here. Call ahead for reservations for large groups.

Carry Out. The Bahn Thai Restaurant also offers carry out. You can call ahead of time, place your order, and it will be ready for you to pick up. Or, come inside, place your order, and wait. The ambiance is worth it.

Parking. There is plenty of parking available for this restaurant. This ethnic eatery is a separate building with its own parking lot. Yet, there are shops nearby which offer parking spaces also - if need be.

The Bahn Thai Restaurant is located at 9811 Mickelberry Road, across from the Albertson's shopping center. Call them at 360-698-3663. I would recommend this dining establishment to anyone in the mood for some nice ambiance combined with great authentic Thai ethnic food.
