This refrigerated cookie dough comes in a one pound package that retails for only $2.49. This product is already separated into twenty four equal portions. Considering that all the work is already done for you, and the dough is all ready to break apart and bake in the oven, I like this price very much.
Baking these cookies can be all complete in fifteen minutes from start to finish. After preheating the oven to three hundred and fifty degrees, the separated cookie dough gets removed from the outer packaging. A little bit of gentle wiggling easily breaks the dough apart. Each individual portion gets placed on a cookie sheet approximately two inches apart. The timer then gets set for ten minutes. The directions on the back of the cookie dough packaging states that the cookies should be baked for ten to twelve minutes, but my batches are always perfect at exactly ten. I would suggest checking the oven after nine to ten minutes and then allowing them an extra few minutes of baking if necessary.
One two cookie serving size contains one hundred and seventy calories. There is eight grams of Fat in each serving, with four grams of Saturated Fat. There is also one hundred and sixty milligrams of Sodium, twenty four grams of Carbohydrate and fifteen grams of Sugar. Additionally, there is two grams of Protein per two cookies. There is no Vitamin A, Vitamin C or Calcium in this cookie dough. However, each two cookies offer six percent of Iron.
My girls and I absolutely love the taste of the cookies made from Bake House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Although they are not homemade, they are darn good. There is an ample amount of chocolate chips in each serving and the cookies are a great size for either an adult or child's snack. They crisp up beautifully in the oven allowing a for a little bit of a soft and chewy center. These cookies store very well in a plastic container that is kept tightly closed. With the holidays fast approaching, I will be sure to keep this product on hand. There is no comparison to a cookie dough that is crafted entirely by hand, but this quick and easy alternative is a nice substitution. For taste, ease in preparation and price, I give this chocolate chip cookie dough four out of five stars.
