2 cups White or dark chicken (cooked)
2 cans Cream of chicken soup
1 cup Chicken broth
2 cans Canned biscuits
2 stalks Celery - chopped (optional)
1/2 onion Onion - chopped (optional)
2 cups Chicken gravy (optional)
Directions for Baked Chicken and Dumplings

Prepare dumplings.
Roll out canned biscuits. Place a small amount of chicken onto each biscuit. Fold biscuit over and pinch sides together to hold in chicken. Place prepared dumplings in deep baking dish.2
Prepare sauce.
In a separate bowl, mix broth, celery, onion, and cream of chicken soup together. It should have a consistency of pudding.3
Pour and bake.
Pour mixture onto dumplings making sure that it all evenly coated. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until you see the tops begin to brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper. (Chicken gravy can be used if casserole comes out too dry.)Allow to stand 10 minutes. Serves 6-8.Tip
