Baccali Cafe and Rotisserie is located on 245 W Valley Blvd in Alhambra, CA. From Monday to Thursday, and on Sundays, this casual eatery is open from 8am to 1am. On Fridays and Saturdays, Baccali is open from 8am and closes one hour later at 2am.

Baccali Cafe and Rotisserie is well-known for their delicious roasted chicken and other chicken dishes. However, Baccali Cafe and Rotisserie also boasts some fine foods in other categories. One of these dishes is the baked fish.

When you order the baked fish, you can either have it served with rice or pasta. I am sure both are equally delicious, but I have only ordered it with rice.

For those that are unfamiliar with the baked fish dish that is available at most if not all similarly styled Chinese restaurants, this dish consists of baked fish bathed with a creamy sauce. Each restaurant will differ in how their sauce is prepared. This combination of fish and creamy sauce is placed over rice or noodles. This dish also may include baked cheese.

At Baccali Cafe and Rotisserie, the sauce includes corn, which adds just a little bit of sweetness that is perfect for this dish. The creamy sauce goes very well with the baked fish and rice. There is just enough of the sauce so that each bite you get a good amount of it. In fact, the dish is good enough that each bite makes you hungry for more.

The baked fish with rice is enough to feed two mildly hungry individuals or one very hungry individual. The price for the dish is about average for a meal of its size.

This dish is made better by the fact that it is served in a rather relaxed and casual environment, generated by the friendly staff and many wide-screen television sets placed strategically around the restaurant so that no matter where you sit you can watch some television while you eat.

For those new to Baccali Cafe and Rotisserie in Alhambra, I would first recommend trying some roasted chicken. For those who frequent this eatery, I would suggest trying the baked fish over rice for a little change of pace.
