Where Purchased
I purchased the 19.8 oz box of Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix at our local Aldi's supermarket. The side panel on the Baker's Corner Brownie Fudge Mix states this product is distributed by Aldi, Inc. so it may be available at other stores. Baker's Fudge Brownie mix is packaged in a plastic liner and on the box top in plain view is the "best used by" date to ensure freshness of the product. As is commonly done by most manufacturers nowadays, there is a statement that Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix "contains wheat and is manufactured on shared equipment with products containing soy, milk, eggs, walnuts and peanuts" which is an important caution for those who may suffer life threatening allergies to these products.
Preparation
Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix is uncomplicated and completed in three simple steps. The ingredients needed are eggs, water and vegetable oil. The directions include generously greasing the bottom of a 13'' x 9'' x 2'' pan. You can use an 8" square pan if you desire a fudge brownie that is less moist. If the texture of cake-like brownies is more to your taste, the directions state that you should stir in three tablespoons of all purpose flour into the dry mix. After adding the vegetable oil, eggs and water and mixing until well moistened, spread the batter in a greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 28-30 minutes depending upon your oven. The directions caution against over baking which causes dryness. Allow the Baker's Corner Fudge brownies to cool before cutting.
Taste Test
When baked as directed, Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie Mix is on par with the more expensive name brand fudge brownie mixes. Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies are moist and chewy and depending on the size of your slices, 20-25 squares are easily cut. The taste of Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies is not artificial, are not overly sweet and completely met my expectation. The yield from the Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix is more than I could sensibly eat. To protect from overindulgence, I divided the Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies to freeze half for a future treat. Freezing Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies does not compromise the taste and quality of the brownies.
A variation of the preparation of the Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix is to add chopped walnuts for those who prefer a nutty brownie. Adding coconut to the mix is another tasty addition. The side panel of Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix has a recipe for Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies which sounds delectable and I plan to try the next time I use Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie mix.
Serving Suggestions
The perennial milk and brownie combination is an ideal way to serve Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies. Children and grandchildren alike can enjoy its rich fudge taste on those special "get-together" visits between the two generations. The directions are simple enough for grand mom (or grand-pop) and the grandchildren to whip up a batch of brownies for a special fun activity.
Another serving suggestion is to crumble the brownie and place in alternate layers with ice cream in an iced parfait glass. It makes a pretty presentation for dessert.
Top the brownie square with whipped topping and a maraschino cherry for another serving variation.
Storing Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies in a plastic bag and then refrigerating keeps Baker's Corner Fudge Brownies moist and keeps the brownies from breaking apart.
Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie Mix is easy to prepare and is priced less than popular brand name fudge brownie mixes. Baker's Corner Fudge Brownie Mix measures up quite favorably in taste and quality to name brand brownie mixes without product compromise.

I haven't tried these yet, but they may be on my shopping list next time. Great review.
I enjoyed this article so much. You made it sound so delicious and appealing. Being an avid Aldi shopper, I will have to pick this item up and give it a try. And for someone who doesn't like to cook much, I like the 3 ingredients.
