Baldwin Library in Birmingham to Hold Even for Local Authors

This Saturday, residents will have the chance to meet 16 local authors at the Local Author Fair, and the authors will have a chance to promote their work, sign books, and mingle with potential readers. The authors have written books in various genres. The fair will be held at the Baldwin Public Library on September 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Rotary Tribute and Donor Rooms.

One of the authors, teen Ryan Potter, wrote a book called "Exit Strategy" which is a fictional story set in metro-Detroit. The novel is about a teen and his plan to break out of blue collar life. Potter uses real Detroit locations in the story and he'll be present to discuss it at the fair.
