Baldwin Library Offers More Than Just Books
Neighborhood: Birmingham
Birmingham, MI 48009
United States of America
There are some decided perks at Birmingham's Baldwin Library, and one of those includes the ability to rent meeting rooms to suit the needs of businesses, classes, seminars or other presentations.

Available for community needs and educational pursuits, the openings are being used by both profit and nonprofit groups for what Baldwin deems reasonable fees. The rooms are able to accommodate people for smaller gatherings, but are also flexible enough to handle crowds of up to 120.

Smartly appointed with colorful carpet, wood tables and matched seating, the rooms range from those equipped with desktop computers and conference tables, to theater-style seating or individual chairs. Lit by trendy lamps or daylight, most feature wood paneled walls, and the kitchen area duplicates that wood, along with stainless appliances and accents. Podiums, screens and other accoutrements are offered to anticipate every need with such presentations. Other rentals entail coffee or tea pots; video, slide and overhead projectors; conference phones, and flip-charts or white-boards.

Rooms available are the Rotary Room, the Donor Room, the Jeanne Lloyd Room, the Board Room and the kitchen. They are available from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with shorter weekend hours.

The library is at 300 W. Merrill St.
