When considering a Ballet School or studio think about the age and experience of the dancer as well as their temperament and personality. This full service studio offers ballet training in the Imperial Russian Method they are full of energy and boast that they are the premier ballet instruction in the area. The Academy of Ballet has an address of 824 Caroline Street and is located on George Street. The Academy teaches all ages and levels and generally produces a full length Nutcracker and Spring Recital as a large scale public performance with their professional company. (540) 371-6781.

Avery Ballet is at 810 Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg in the same building as Jabberwocky Book and Toy store. Lead by Lisa Snape Avery the instruction at Avery is devoted to nurturing and developing the dancer with a careful focus on technique. Advanced dancers participate in pilates as well as ballet classes as part of their dance curriculum. Stafford Ballet Academy is located just on the Stafford side of Fredericksburg. With an address of 102 White Oak they are actually located in the shopping center with Earl's Hardware store next to the Chinese restaurant (Cool Springs Road).
