Balloon Boy Fiasco Parallels Found in White House's Missing Dog Bo

President Dog Bo Believed to Be Inside Pill Shaped Balloon Sailing Over Potomac

The antics of balloon boy, aka Falcon Heene, captured the attention of the world for one brief moment last Thursday when it was reported that he was somehow stuck inside the bottom of a mylar balloon shaped like a UFO headed for the Denver International Airport. Would the military try to puncture the balloon? Would he be able to survive long at altitude reported to be near 9,000 feet in the air? When the balloon finally landed in a field, and emergency crews immediately rush to the balloon it was found that balloon boy was not inside.

Fears mounted that he had somehow fallen out.

Mere hours later it was revealed that balloon boy was hiding in a crawl space above his parent's garage, and questions swirl as to whether the incident was staged.

Now a similar incident has occurred at the White House in Washington D.C., which has bizarre similarities to the balloon boy episode. In an attempt to win support for health care, Vice President Joe Biden had planned a publicity stunt which included releasing a mylar balloon filled with helium in the shape of a pill. The pill would rise above the White House and simulate the rising costs of health care in this country.

However, in an eery similarity to the balloon boy episode, it appears that the President's dog, "Bo", a Portuguese water dog recently bought by the Obama's due its hypoallergenic characteristics, some how made it into the bottom of the pill balloon basket, which had a small basket carrying letters that people have written to vice president Joe Biden on health care.

Joe Biden immediately realized this and began kicking a potted plant around the front of the White House lawn. Yelling that he had told Bo to keep him away from the balloon.

Joe Biden immediately called the Air Force and asked that there is a "Bo" inside a balloon and that it needs to be brought down. The operator for the Air Force then replied that she thought this was a joke, and that she thought that someone was trying to imitate the balloon boy fiasco. She told the vice president that she was "tired of people pretending to have lost a "balloon boy." And that she didn't believe that he was the vice president.

CNN also believed it to be a hoax, and refused to cover footage of the pill balloon, along with Bo the President's dog, sailing over the Potomac. However, local television stations in Washington D.C. are covering the incident and are dubbing the airborne dog, "Balloon Bo."

Marine One, the President's helicopter, is currently tracking the Pill balloon believed to contain the President's dog, Bo. President Obama has called the parents of Falcon Heene for support and advice on what to do when a loved one is unexpectedly carried away by a balloon.

Bo's secret service codename is Toto, apparently inspired by the movie Wizard of Oz, Vice President Joe Biden apologized to President Obama and his family and apparently stated that Bo may have gone "Over the Rainbow". The Vice President was not immediately available to answer what he meant by that comment.
