Balm of Gilead
There is a balm in Gilead
to make the wounded whole;
There is a Great Physician there
to cure the grieving soul.

who rightly understands
Who made the inward parts of us
and heals with loving hands.
Oh Jesus, Lord and Savior
the dying sinners' friend
Oh, save me to the uttermost,
be with me to the end.
