I'm not sure about you but the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) has become my go to place for any and all music, art and performances lately. Since I recently got a nice fat raise, I've been spending more and more time there checking out the exhibits.

I was checking out their calendar for November and am really excited at the prospects for what they have in store. I haven't been to the movies in a while, but BAM is a unique experience, so I will definitely try to hit up their screenings of 'The Social Network' and Woody Allen's new flick, 'You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.' I'm not sure what it is, but seeing a moving at BAM is inherently so much more relaxing than dealing with the masses of Times Square et al. both of these movies will be playing at BAM for most of November.

I'm also excited to see James Thiérrée's new mind blowing creation Raoul. Thiérrée is as accomplished as a performer as there is. He's a magician, artist, violinist (to name just a few) and will surely blow the minds of the audience with this unique experience. Raoul will be playing for the first half of November only, so be sure to check it out while you can.

BAM always has great items on the calendar and November is no different. You better get over there while you can before the next batch of performances takes over!
