Summer is nearly here and swimsuits are on the must have list for essential summer items. There are many styles available on the market but the bandeau style bikini and bandeau one piece swimsuits have flooded the market in waves. Each retailer is carrying a variety of these suits this season. Depending on the retailer the suits can have matching bottoms or be purchased in separates. Here are a few places carrying stylish bandeau's.

Baby Brazil's line carries a convertible cut-out bandeau which offers three different ways to wear the swimsuit. The suit can be worn without straps, with the straps crossed in front of the neck or from the suit top around the neck. It's also a separates item so it can be paired with any one of the thongs, string, tab tie, or lace up bikini bottoms. The colors are bright for the summer but not adorned with any embellishments. The current price is $31.50 for the bandeau's and between 28.35 and 29.50 for the bikini bottoms. Venus is also carrying a convertible version but it is called the three-in-one bandeau because it can be tied in the front of the neck, around the neck or tied completely in the back. This suit is also sold in separates for varying prices due to the styles and cut.

A very popular style of bandeau swimsuit is the bandeau with the o-ring. Some of these bandeau tops have side boning, adjustable back spaghetti straps or "side stays" to help keep it in place. Venus.com has many variations of this suit and offers an elastic strap that can be attached to the swimsuit for extra support while some of the tops also offer removable padding. The Venus.com website does not recommend this style for over C-cup sizes but offer many other swimsuit styles for the more well endowed woman. The prices differ due to style.

This season's bandeau is also coming in a very form flattering twist front top in many colors from Victoria's Secret. The twist top also comes with an removable halter strap for added support and each are fully lined while others have additional padding. Victoria's Secret prices prices vary from $22 to $79 for the bandeau and the bottom can be purchased separately.

Both Victoria's Secret and Venus carry bandeau tankini suits; an alternative to the regular two piece suit. Tankini's offer more coverage from the sun, hides the mid-section if you are carrying a bit more around the middle than you would like yet still has a sexy beach appeal to it. Both sites offer the bandeau tankini in an array of colors and patterns. Depending on the site some of the suits offer back ties and spaghetti straps for extra support. For those who would prefer not to use the straps the bandeau's from Venus.com offer hidden shelf bras and side stays to keep the suit in place. Venus offers the bandeau tankini for as low as $23 and up to $46 but the bottoms are separate. Victoria's Secret offers this style of suit for as low as $38 up to $90 with the bottoms being purchased separately, also.

A sexy addition to the bandeau style suit is the one piece bandeau from Ujena.com. The bandeau top ties in the back and has a center tie in the front that can be tied tightly to create a small ring or worn crossed beneath the neck to create an a cut-out center. The bandeau is attached to the bottoms by a long, slim piece of the suit. The look is ultra sexy and sleek. The one piece bandeau with Ujena is $89.
