Bank Review: First National Bank of Nassau County in Fernandina Beach, Florida

With the choice of all the banks in Fernandina, "First National Bank" is my favorite. The service is excellant, and it feels like home when doing business with them.

After I had opened my first bank account with another company, I made a mistake with it, and closed it. Because I owed them money on the account that I never paid, I could not open a bank account because of bad credit.

The problem with not having a bank account, was having several thousands of dollars on hand. This money on hand was a danger because of thieves, and also it could be misplaced and lost by accident.

When I came to "First National Bank", they would not open a checking account me either, but what they did do for me was let me open a savings account. This allowed me to get that large of amount cash out of my pocket, and put it away safely. No other bank would do this for me, and they worked things out to get me an account.

Later I was able to open a checking account with them, and now I have been doing business with them for years.

If I ever had a problem with my credit/debit card, then they would assist me right away. When ever I would walk in and need to talk to them about my account, I never had to wait very long. Also they would talk with me about my options, and suggest some things to help me out.

I have never had any problem with them, and my checking account rate has never changed. Even though I have been over drawn many times, they have never called me up on the phone to ask me about payments.

The ATM machine use is limited, in that I can only get a free ATM withdraw in one location of the world, but it is free to use for checking withdraws, and also the banks location puts it centered where I do business in Fernandina, this makes it a easy centralized access point for my money, from most places in Fernandina.

With the perfect customer service, and quick business, and also for the way they work things out, I give this bank a number 10 on a scale of one to ten.

I have had another bank, and I also have seen how other banks do business, this bank compared to the other banks in Fernandina is the best. There customer service has made me a loyal customer.
