Banned from El Paso

Watching Me Wander

bw Frampton
I once saw the ending
The conclusion of this world
Yes, I was stoned
walking the streets, alone
just before I was banned from el Paso

The end was evening fire
falling down on mountain tops
So far from home
and, in sin, I did roam
just before I was banned from el Paso

Demons and motel angels
standing on Dire Street everynight,
watching me wander -
tempting me with earthly delight,
watching me wander -
taking glee at the spiritual fight,
watching me wander
just before I was banned from el Paso

What Shana (Secretsides) said. Far from mediocre. And hey, being banned from El Paso is a lot bigger than being banned from Glendive MT... (but I "was young, and this picture's old" and it was far away and I a different person than now...)
