About Banquet's Pepperoni Pizza Meal
Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal is a good buy. Available in my neck of the woods (Central Florida) for 88 cents at Sweetbay Supermarket, I am getting a slice of pizza about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide (more or less). It contains small bits of pepperoni with what tastes like mozzarella cheese.
The entree is billed as "reduced-fat pepperoni pizza." The crust and dough is crunchy and soft, but none too moist or chewy, which is nice -- in my opinion. The pizza is certainly not the best of any frozen pizza, let me make that clear. But I have certainly had far worse pizzas than this from a box straight out of the grocer's freezer.
To make the deal even sweeter, Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal also includes a side of chocolate pudding. It cooks up as a rather thick pudding, and one has to watch out for getting a bit of skin on the pudding during the heating process.
Cooking Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal is not time consuming. It takes a short 5 minutes (including standing time) in the microwave. Even cooking the meal in a conventional oven is a breeze. The meal is in and out of a conventional oven in 17 minutes, with a 2-minute standing time.

Overall Look at Banquet's Pepperoni Pizza Meal
Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal is a good choice for an inexpensive snack. It even could make a fine plate for a young child. It is not the best-tasting meal in the world, but at about a dollar, it is hard to beat.
Don't overlook the fact that Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal contains 20% of the average adult's daily intake of dietary fiber -- not bad for a 5.75 ounce frozen dinner.
On the down side, though, is that at only 5.75 ounces, the average adult is consuming more than a third of the daily allowance for sodium (34%) and a full fifth (20%) of total fat intake. Otherwise, though, the numbers are not bad, including only 350 calories and 15% of the average adult's daily allowance of total carbohydrates.
All in all, Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal makes a decent choice for a quick snack. Children will enjoy the chocolate pudding dessert. The food label reflects a few numbers which may put some dieters a little over the top for the day, but a typical person's diet certainly includes room for a snack like this Banquet offering.
Along with a soft-on-the-budget price, Banquet's pepperoni pizza meal makes a satisfactory choice for budget-minded consumers.
