The 18th Amendment is a dive bar in Washington, DC located at 613 Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast. The 18th Amendment has two floors the top is the regular bar and if you go around back there is the Keyhole Lounge which is a speakeasy bar. You can also reach the Keyhole from within the 18th Amendment. ‎

Atmosphere - Sports bar with a personality best describes the 18th Amendment. A lot of TV's on various sports programs with music played at a volume where you can still talk. Great for groups with large couches or for smaller groups you can sit at the bar or a small table. This place isn't very big, but you can surprisingly pack a lot of people in.

Food/Drink - The drinks are strong and made for tips, so tip well if you like your drinks. The food is typical bar fare with nothing too special about it.

Service - The service is friendly and fast at this local bar where the staff actually enjoys talking to you and will try to engage you in conversation. Get in good with them and they will slide you free drinks.

Cost - The cost is very cheap for DC with beers starting at $4. They also have a wide collection of wine and liquors to choose from if beer isn't your thing. The food is a little overpriced for what you get, but with drink prices so cheap I think it balances out.
