Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Defends Partial-birth Abortion

Junior U.S. Senator from Illinois

Donna H. Davey
As transparently biased as the MSM is, it should raise flags when they ooh and ahh (24/7) over a politician, who, quite clearly, is also a Democrat with socialist views and a strong supporter of pro-abortion legislation, particularly the gruesome partial-birth abortion.

I hope that the American people are not blinded by the continual media hype, and make an opinion based on the issues instead of the smooth talking, decent looks, and over-all charm. I've been disappointed to hear even friends of mine mention that simply because Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. speaks well and looks good, that he would make the perfect leader, but when asked what they know about what he stands for, not one of them could give an answer. Apparently, to many, all it takes is appearance and performance, never mind actual accomplishments or experience.

But since I've brought up accomplishments, let me list a few measures that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. backs.

He sponsored S.CON.RES.53: A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that any effort to impose photo identification requirements for voting should be rejected.

In 1999 he was the only Illinois State Senator to vote against a bill barring early release for (criminal) sex offenders.

He voted against filtering pornography on school and library computers and he voted for sex education for kindergarten children through the 5th grade.

Also, in 2001, he voted "present" on a bill to keep pornographic book and video stores and strip clubs from setting up within 1,000 feet of schools and churches.

Just as unsettling is his voting record on abortion.

Twice, Obama voted against bills prohibiting tax funding of abortions.

In February 2004, his wife, Michelle, sent out a fundraising letter, which actually stated her concern over the rise of conservatism in the Country, and that the 'so-called' partial-birth abortion was a legitimate medical procedure that should be protected.

In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA (Born Alive Infants Protection Act) was sent, Obama prevented it from even getting a hearing. BAIPA, by the way, stated that all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted.

In 2001, he voted "present" on a bill to notify parents when their minor children seek an abortion.

He voted against a cloning ban in 2000, but voted for it in 2001.

In 1997, Obama twice voted "present" on an Illinois partial-birth abortion ban.

For all that he is polished on the surface, his stand on the defenseless seems cold to the core and while I'm able to look past a politician personally, I strongly disapprove of what Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. stands for.

  • From Wikipedia: Barack Obama
  • His voting record shows Barack to be as far left as they come.
  • He is an enemy to unborn children.
  • He was raised Muslim but 'converted' to Christianity later in life.
Jill Stanek wrote: In 2003, Obama prevented BAIPA from even getting a fair hearing in his capacity as chairman of the Senate Health & Human Services Committee, where Democrat leadership purposefully sent the bill for Obama to kill. In all, BAIPA has been introduced and failed four times in four years in Illinois, thanks in no small part to Barack Obama.

Really, WOW! This is not what he preached today 9/28/10 in a BACKYARD gathering. He said he was "Christian and against late term abortion." I'm not defending him, I don't know what to believe? Anybody have something to say? Prove to me "What the deal is?"

the allowance of abortion through the government funded high risk pools is sickening, pennsylvania for example leaves out the word elective in its coverage of abortion.the pools fund high risk pregnancies, incest, rape AND if the doctor finds "emotional distress"from being pregnant,or depression,or ya kn ow-if the woman wants to just say she was raped, well hell-its that easy to get an abortion-
more unborn blacks will suffer from this than ever at the hand of the white man and the blacks remain silent on this still supporting their baraq like sheep lead to a slaughter-

Killing live children is murder and should be punished as such. Mr. Obama is a disgrace for his support for such a terrible thing as infanticide. Partial birth abortion is the killing of a viable live infant and he is most certainly aware of that, or else he is no where near as smart as he thinks he is.

Pro-choice is a lot different to pro-abortion. Come on all the idoits that has ran this country in the ground. And send your children off to war. People complain it hasn't even been two years. Give the man a chance and stop believing everything you hear about him. But we know what it all about.

    B. Hussein Obama is EVIL...period. He slipped up in an interview with Stephanopolous saying "In my Muslim beliefs" and was corrected by little George to say "Christian". He is a lying, evil demon. God will deal with him soon....just wait and see!

Obama is evil. I believe he will lead the world to destruction...we are going to hell in a handbasket. He stands for everything un-american. I believe he is a part of prophecy. Possibly an anti-Christ. He had to be put into office in order for prophecy to be fulfilled. I don't know how he sleeps at night..with two children of his own I'm surprised he is for the murder of innocent babies. GO TO HELL OBAMA...you're on the right path..just keep walking. Bastard.

Abortion is wrong ALWAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS. It must be sooo terribly difficult for women to live it down. I don't think that anyone who agrees with abortion has thought COMPLETELY through the issue. Well, there are some cases that are easier to forgive than others. One being a girl or woman getting raped. I believe that if this were to happen to me, and I hadn't already thought throught the issue and established my irreversible opinion....well, actually, no. I would not have had an abortion in this case. Let me share my full-on opinion. Abortion is wrong in all choices. There are two very difficult situations. One being a woman getting raped. Although a woman (or girl) would probably not be ready for a baby, it is not the baby's fault. It may also be terribly difficult to live through each day with a huge emotional, physical, etc. reminder of that day that she was raped (or of the rapist.) :( Although this is a horribly difficult situation, nothing ever excuses murder. Another situation is
