Barack Obama: The Antichrist, Really?

Many people have this preconceived idea that Barack Obama is or might be the Antichrist. Although this might sound satisfying to someone who does not like Barack, it couldn't be further from the truth. To say that Barack is the Antichrist truly shows how often the scripture is tossed aside to make room for opinion and error. However, I do believe that Barack is being used by God to show just how easy it will be to deceive and captivate the multitudes with very little effort. This is why it is very important to know about the events leading to the rise of the Antichrist.

Simple Comparison of the Two

To begin the comparison of Barack Obama and the Antichrist you must understand some history and background of the two. Barack is an American born citizen of the United States of America. He is of African descent with his family's roots belonging to Kenya. He attended school in the United States and graduated college within the United States. Barack's religious background is based in Black Liberation Theology. He is also the President Elect, which means he will be President of the United States in January of 2009. Barack Obama's name is of Muslim decent due to his father's Muslim background and heritage only. Barack can't be considered King of the Jews in a nation where most of the people are not considered Jews.

The Antichrist will be of Jewish descent. He will rise up to power in the Middle East, possibly in Syria or Jerusalem where Temple Mount will be rebuilt. The only way he can be considered the King of the Jews is to be of Jewish descent. The other reason why he will be of Jewish descent is because the Antichrist longs to be everything that Jesus Christ was. In other words Jesus Christ is the one and only true Messiah and King of the Jews, therefore, the Antichrist will mirror what he wants most. The Antichrist will sit in the rebuilt Temple Mount and claim to be God. This is known as the Abomination of Desolation. This will be one of the ways he will deceive the world.

The Scriptures Prove It

All of the scriptures I will list in this article come from the Thompson's Chain Reference Study Bible, New King James Version. If you look to the scriptures you will find that there is no way that Barack Obama is the Antichrist. Barack does not possess any of the characteristics or ideologies of the Antichrist. There is a huge difference in having the spirit of the Antichrist and actually being Satan in the form of a man. Listed below are scriptures that will help guide you down the path of truth in understanding more about the Antichrist:

Isaiah 10:5-14: This is where Arrogant Assyria will be judged and this is where the image of the Antichrist starts to come into form.

Isaiah 10:24: God says that he will destroy Assyria or Syria and remove the yoke and burden put on the people by the King or possibly the Antichrist.

Micah 5:5: This scripture speaks of the Assyrian invading a country which is most likely Israel and the destruction of Israel's enemies.

Daniel 7:20: This scripture states that the Antichrist was larger than his fellows. He had a mouth which spoke pompous words.

Daniel 8:23-27: In Daniel's vision he sees the Antichrist as having fierce features, he understands sinister schemes, his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power, he shall destroy fearfully, he shall destroy the holy people, he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule, he shall exalt himself in his heart, shall destroy many in their prosperity, shall rise up against Prince of princes.

Daniel 9:27: This scripture states that he shall make a covenant with many for one week (7 years), but in the middle of the week he will bring an end to offerings and sacrifice. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate.

Daniel 11:41: Daniels vision shows the northern king (The Assyrian or better known as The Antichrist) shall also enter the glorious land and many countries shall be overthrown. The vision also states that he shall stretch out his hands against the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver and over the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels.

The Scriptures Do Not Lie

All of these scriptures debunk the notion that Barack Obama could be the Antichrist. Barack is not a Jew and never has been a Jew. He is not from Syria as well, which is mentioned in Isaiah and Micah. Though Barack's name is of Middle Eastern origin, he does not live in the Middle East and he is not a ruler of any Middle Eastern Country. Furthermore, how could Barack possibly overthrow the countries of the Middle East and have Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia follow his footsteps. Everything that the biblical scripture has to offer circulates within the Middle East. He has a spirit of the Antichrist but is not Satan in man's form. The United States is also an ally of Israel and with that being said Micah 5:5 reinforces my stance by clearing stating that the Assyrian will invade Israel and be destroyed by God. Elijah can be found in 2 Kings Chapter 2 and Enoch in Hebrews Chapter 11 and the two together can be found in Revelation Chapter 11.
