Barack Obama Defends Michelle Obama: "Lay Off My Wife"

Tony Jingo
After the Tennessee GOP aired a video ad featuring Michelle Obama uttering her most famous comments hinting to her lack of American pride, Barack Obama warned, "Lay off my wife."[1]

Apparently, chivalry is not dead in the Obama camp, or is it? Not to long ago, in a bitter town, Barack Obama gave a "race" speech designed to control some of the damage stirred up by his mentor, the Rev. Wright. During this spin, Obama threw his grandmother under the bus by suggesting she held unfounded fears based on race, and later claimed she is a "typical white" person. Barack Obama attacked his "white" grandmother's character all in the pursuit of political gain. [2]

Barack Obama's treatment of his grandmother was and is shameful. While he was battering the lighter side of his family he was protecting his bitter wife and shrugging off alliances to the most radical and anti-American segments of American society. I am starting to doubt Louis Farrakhan's assessment that Barack Obama is "well groomed."[3] Barack Obama is simply enjoying the spoils of being the media's darling.

It's rather simple Barack Obama, if your angry bride wishes to appear as your surrogate and attack America, then she is fair game. Perhaps sir, you need to thicken that skin of yours and save some chivalry for your grandmother.

Barack Obama has identified two individuals that have the greatest influence on his thinking; they are his wife Michelle Obama and Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. [4]

Barack did a miserable job at distancing himself from one anti-American "relative," let's take a quick look at some of the comments by his other "greatest influence."

1985, Princeton Thesis: "There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost." -The future Mrs. Michelle Obama [5]

February 2008, UCLA: "before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken in this nation."-Michelle Obama [6]

February 2008, Milwaukee, Wisconsin: "People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and ...for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country "-Michelle Obama [7]

Mrs. Obama delivered an amended version of the speech later that day in Madison, Wis.

Madison, Wisconsin: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country, not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change"-Michelle Obama [7]

March 10th [2008] edition of The New Yorker: "we're a country that is just downright mean." -Michelle Obama [8]

The above is just a few "snippets" gleaned from larger speeches that Michelle Obama has given. The full context of those speeches will reveal an uglier version of the bride of Barack, one steeped in anger of monstrous proportions, Marxist ideals, and anti-American sentiment.

Ironically, when it was still politically expedient for Barack Obama to defend his "uncle", Barack complained that the media was only using "snippets" of the Reverend's speeches that he has delivered over the years. That complaint has prompted many to view those speeches in its entirety and what was revealed was hateful anti-American rhetoric, just in full context. The more Michelle Obama speaks it is apparent that she is a believer of the Reverend Wright's teachings.

Now that it is no longer politically healthy for Barack Obama to defend his "uncle", he has finally added some distance. Now, for the first time in his children's young lives there is hope that his daughters will have a change in doctrine. Well...there is still momma.

If Barack Obama wants the Tennessee GOP to lay off his wife, perhaps Michelle Obama should lay off America. Until then, Michelle Obama is fair game.

Interesting group of quotes. I try not to take these anti-American name-calling spats seriously, though.

Excellent article. Since I trust no politicians, I don't trust him either. His wife does seem to be even angrier and more racist than he is, although I dont know it just appears that way, but then I can't stand McCain or his wife either. I see no good choice.

I disagree with yoru point of view, but this is a well-researched article.

Love your article as I have said in some of mine, I think he has a hidden agenda. Who is he really going to be acting for in office, the United States as a whole or someone or something else? I don't feel confident he knows who he is and if you don't know yourself and be proud of who you are (or at least be able to deal with it) you certainly shouldn't be allowed to guess at who other people are and what should be best for them.

I'm not pleased with all aspects of Barack Obama. For his sake, he better show through deeds that he will be the President of all the people.

Very good analysis, Tyler. Richard, you're not done with Obama yet..he still has a connection with that radical building teaching hate to children (funny he says he never attended a (radical) madrassa, but he sends his children to a location teaching hate for America, funny how that worked out) And he's still on a forward march to the White House..He may be every ones problem soon..

Tony, you're absolutely right. Obama could have selected a more civil preacher, although that church was huge. I think it was a matter of demographics and the ability of Wright to fire up the troops that drew Obama to him. I also would pick a preacher that was active in politics if I was running for office to build my own political name. I would precede to say I believed in God even though there is no physical way to prove one exist, copy a few quotes that sound good for a book and presto I am in political office. All people need is inspiration and they can be tricked into anything.

I'm so happy the rest of the country has finally found out what all of us know in Chicago -- that Obama is an elitist with an elitist wife, who have both benefited from the system that they seek to destroy. Though he is an elitist snob, Obama is not above mixing it up with the bag men and hacks of the Chicago Democratic Machine that makes the unofficial motto of Chicago --"Where's Mine?"-- the real deal when the sappy "Yes we can!" is retired for the night. He's yours --world. We're done with him here, "Tanks be to God".

You may be right Tyler, but the problem is while he was shopping he bought everything that Wright was selling...remember you can choose your church & your friends...not your relatives..Obama not only chose that church among many but he additionally chose to make Wright his "uncle."

  • Tyler Mills5/27/2008

I think this is just a case where Obama went pastor shopping as a lot of people do to form a political career (social liberals and conservatives) and in exchange for getting a lot of votes out of it in inner city Chicago it may cost him the Presidency.
