Barack Obama Getting Desperate, Asking for Clinton Support

Dryness
After being overshadowed this past week by the new kid on the block, Sarah Palin the Republican Vice President Nominee, Obama is now out of the spotlight and starting to lose faith that he might win. Obama is getting very desperate and is now meeting with the Clintons to ask for their support in these finals weeks leading up to the Presidential Elections.

Has anyone heard from the Democratic Vice President nominee over the past week? Has anyone seen the Democratic Vice President? That would be a no. I bet Barack Obama regrets that choice now! Coverage has been 24/7 on the Republican Vice President nominee Sarah Palin and she has been getting everyone's attention. Obama is no longer the cover story of every newspaper, he's not the lead story on every news station, and his poll numbers are starting to decline.

With Obama's Vice President Nominee overshadowed in every respect, Obama is pulling for the Clinton support again. This time Obama will be meeting Bill Clinton in New York today. Bill will be asked, again, to pull in his support for the Democratic Party and campaign for Obama. But Bill knows Obama's ride is about over. He hasn't stood fast on any policy, other than "it's time for a change", and that is what Obama as done; changed his position and views on just about every subject imaginable over the past 19 months of his campaign.

Bill and Hilary Clinton know they must put forth enough effort by making a few campaign stops and releasing some positive PR statements for Obama and the Democratic Party. This will keep the party happy and Bill will show that he can take one for the team. In a few months expect Hilary to say "I told you so" and a new campaign to begin, because in 2012 it will be Hilary Clinton who will be the Democratic Party Presidential Nomination.

Well, in six weeks Obama will win the election - the post-Palin bounce having faded, so I doubt the Clintons will be saying "I told you so". Most of us Decline to States can't ignore the economy and McCain's history with not only the S&L crisis but also his numerous votes to further de-regulation take him off the table for us once you factor in the very conservative Palin. Check McCain and Obama's voting records in the US Senate (and the Illinois State Senate for 8 years for Obama) and see who's really singing a definitely different tune today than he has consistently over the last 8-10 years. It's McCain. Already got fooled by Bush, won't get fooled again.
