Barack Obama's Astrology - Part II

What does Obama's astrology say about the man? Pt. 2

Part one of this series described some of the inner planets of Obama's birth horoscope - all but two. This article deals with two facets of the President that we are getting to know:

Mercury - represents Obama's mentality, his particular intellectual focus, and his style of communication.

Mercury in Leo

In a birth chart, the planet Mercury represents a person's thinking. Obama's Mercury is in the sign of Leo; the same as his sun sign. Both are in the same degree of Leo, and are conjunct. His mind and his soul are working in complete harmony.

Leo is a fixed sign with great vitality. This placement of Mercury is why his mind seems to be so fascinatingly alive. Again, the Leo characteristic of nobility fits to his thinking and his mindset. He's "steady as you go". Loyal, and not easily changeable, Obama's mind stays fixed on the direction of the course.

This special attribute sets him off from the crowd in regard to the bulk of his generation. (The Neptune in Scorpio generational influence is addressed in the next segment, Part 3.)

Mars - explains actions of everyday consequence. Though described as the planet of aggression, it isn't the bad kind - it is how a person goes for what he wants and needs from the surrounding world. In the case of this discussion, strategy is a good word to describe the activities of his governance.

As the whole story unravels, the astrological characteristics not only fit, but it's also remarkable how "what you see is what you get." Obama's natal chart is in this writer's top ten of interesting people natal charts. Mars in Virgo

Mars in Virgo makes for uniqueness, and he is bold in the enterprises he gets involved in, especially those of a scientific nature. In this case, obviously we are looking at political science. The native with this placement is said to be successful in most enterprises that he pursues.

This man appears to be too good to be true. Perhaps this is the reason many people continue to be extremely skeptical. With so many years of disappointing presidencies, it feels as if it's time to rub your eyes after waking up from a bad dream. Is it possible, we can finally relax and trust that the leader of our great nation is sincere, and actually doing his job of addressing the concerns of the people? Is it possible that he can escape the cronyism that has run rampant in Washington for eons?

Hey y'all! How's come no one read part III? It's o.k. - the last planets are pretty broad based because it is about a whole generation.
