Barack Obama's Astrology Part III

Jupiter Aquarius

This is another placement that overrides the generational abyss of Neptune in Scorpio. Aquarius and Scorpio are actually in square aspect to one another. Roughly described, Jupiter is the planet of prosperity.

In any event, here are some of the qualities of this Jupiter aspect: philanthropic involvement, high emotional reactions coupled with lots of imagination. This placement is also known for intuition, spiritual understanding, and psychic impressions.

This psychic characteristic is apparent during press conferences, as demonstrated by the way he handles the crowd. It's remarkable the way he seems to pick up on subtleties when responding to the questions.

He actually derives pleasure from his involvement in governmental affairs.

In regard to his psychic and occult experiences - "peculiar conditions and experience brought about by associates and friends. Acquaintances among foreigners and political executives." * Does this fit his relationship with Oprah Winfrey?

This placement is loaded with more superlatives relating to Obama's life. For the sake of brevity, the above description merely touches upon a few highlights.

Saturn Capricorn

This placement of Saturn is considered as being in its "home." The serious side of Obama comes through this combination. One of the attributes that accompany this compatible blend describes the native as a deep thinker with good reasoning ability.

George Llewellyn describes some of the negative aspects: "Liable to inferior attachments, unreliable friendships, sorrow through marriage and domestic affairs; chronic ailments and possibility of some mental affliction." Also described is an inclination toward excessive worry. The last cryptic remark in Llewellyn's description - "Success followed by failures."

Capricorn does tend to gravitate towards the material aspects of life. Sometimes greed comes into the picture when the materialistic side gets out of balance.

Uranus Leo

This combination has the potential to be difficult. Obama may be industrious yet unable to keep up with his own fiery aspirations. Uranus is the planet of electricity, and genius. It is sudden and volatile, but Leo is not. Leo is a fixed sign, which indicates some inflexibility.

The relationship to the other two planets in Leo has a bearing on this as well. Both the Sun and Mercury in Leo are well placed.

Here's another quote from Llewellyn on this: "Obstacles in the home life in youth and loss or difficulty in some way through the father."

Neptune Scorpio

Neptune is quite a distance away from planet Earth. Astrologers give this configuration a wide girth and generally associate a whole generation with the movements of Neptune. The Neptune in Scorpio group has often been referred to as the "X" generation.

This concludes the three part series of a very basic astrology chart. A more in depth astrology chart would include the aspects of the relationships between the planets mentioned.
