I find all this rather interesting, in that Mr. Wright made these statements month's and year's ago, but now that it is convenient, they drag this stuff into the light of day like Senator Obama is responsible for this man's statements. How asinine, stupid and desperate "they" must be to try such tactic's.
The media is certainly eating this up and quite diligent about keeping it front and center. Personally, I refuse to be blind sided or called off by such blatant dirty tactics. We need too keep our eyes fixed on the real situation at hand, the election and the fact that Obama is leading , in all area's.
Now "they" try to get the closet racist, and timid people to be afraid that Obama must believe the same as his minister, if he get's into office. We all need to be very clear about this, IT doesn't matter one bit, any of this recent mess. It is totally ridiculous. If we did a thorough investigation, I wonder where the muddy footprint's would lead?
For a week now, the cable news channels have been playing the same clips over and over again of Pastor Wright's so called inflammatory comments. My question is how come we were not subjected to the same coverage of John McCain supporter Pastor John Hagee's own controversial ramblings?
Religion has ALWAYS been political. There is no way to separate the two. Pastor Wright was clearly within his right to say what he said. The problem is that White America just doesn't want to hear the truth.
The attack on Pastor Wright and Barack Obama is just another example of right winged fear tactics. People fear what they do not understand. Many people look at this man named Barack Obama and instead of accepting him as a smart political figure; people try to dissect him- in other words tear him apart to see what really makes him tick. He is not a victim of the usual political gossip- hookers, interns and illegal fundraising. Senator Obama is being attacked by the most radical and uniformed Americans who spread rumors about him a radical Muslim out to destroy American from within to him being Oprah Winfrey's puppet working to fulfill her agenda.
No, this will not hurt Senator Obama's campaign one bit. The only people whom have a problem with what Pastor Wright has said are the people whom would not vote for Obama anyway.
Senator Obama is doing exactly what he should be doing, a bit of damage control and moving right along with his campaign. Cream indeed rises to the top and nothing in the universe can stop it.

Post a CommentLorraine, Jeremiah was (W)right.
white women are so used to having their ways and now they are whiing about hillary clinton being mistreated because shes a woman and that barack was mean to her,The real reason is that these white racist women cant stand the fact that this black man has a chane to make histor y before tis white woman. Qhat makes me sick about white women is they always say hillary clinton is the first white women to run for president and that all women should be behind her but as a blacl woman i know my history and history tells me that hillary isnt the first woman to run for president "SHIRLEY CHISOLM" was in 1972 and my argument to white women is "WHERE THE HELL WAS YOU AT WHEN THIS BLACK WOMAN WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT" i wouldnt vote for hillary clinton especially her assasination remarks she meant it and she was "code" talking the insane. im voting for barack obama because im "BLACK" before im a woman and i have sons.
i am a african american educatedf female tht lives in charleston wva and ilove barack. I used to hate politics but since barack ran i cant get enough of politics. Barack lost wva but thats cool because hillary was "code" talking anyway to make him lose but i knew he was going to lose anyway because this is a racist state that allows a black woman to be raped and tortured (megan williams) and be left for dead and all wva cared about was their reputation and told megan dont talk to the media and when she did her attackers only got 10 years so what does that tell you and wva iis also a state that allows to former kkk (robert byrd) to be senator so i feel that barack did the best thing by not spending alot of money campaigning because half of these white redneck backwood hilibillies cant read anyway.
Yes sister I have to agree with you. The fear is that if President Barack Obama share the same views as Rev. Wright, he would than be a threat to European (they would rather be called so-called white) social, political and economic privilege over brown hued humanity, starting in this country. This privilege is a global system and Rev. Wright creates fear and a threat to this system. There are many books on the subject.
Also I take GREAT offence to you stateing "White America" that is racist I am white all German and Irish and so is my whole family and that statement is out of line and your just as guilty as the people that look down on you and I would say they were wrong for during it untill you decided to stoop to there level.
You say these are desperate tactics? This preacher is extreme is the problem he calls it the "White establishment" isn't that racist can I call his church the black man church? I don't thinik he would like it people are people the government has people from all races including men like Barrack (who I think would be a great choice for president). But what these people are pointing out is that this is his spiritial leader the person that Barrack looks up to and respects you are judge by the people you choice to align your self with. It is completely fair what p[eople are pointing out and I think Lorriane your letting your self get simply defencive about the whole thing you didn't really make any true points you only stated your opinion.
I think your heart is in the right place but you are wrong its not a cheap shop if Mccains pastor blamed the African American communitty for higher crime rates or taxs what would happen even if it were true? He would get slammed by everyone hard and fa
LOL i guess that poster THINKS the few seconds on youtube and on Fox News is the "whole" video. It goes to show how cluess many people are- they believe the BS/a few sound bytes fed to them by the media
Lorraine, am I the only who finds it interesting that anonymous user "go see the whole video then make your comrnts" should actually read his/her comment and follow his/her own advice?
by you saying this tells me you really are not in touch with what is really going on .
Good Article. I am a white woman who grew up in the deep south of the sixties. Barack is a great leader. All the hype of Rev. Wright is fear. I have 3 grandchildren that are mixed. I lived in Florida and they lived with me for a couple of years. The racism and fear is very strong in the white community. White people that are my age remember why blacks feel the way they do. Rev. Wright spoke the truth. You are right. Now, years later they are trying to bring it up to cause Barack grief. White America is scared of a black man for President. They know where we have been and what we have done. Sad thing is Barack doesn't carry the wounds of the black America has carried. He is trying to bring the country together. He isn't representing just BLACK America, he is trying to represent everyone. The Good Ole Boys System is alive and well in America. They aren't going down without a fight. Wright scares them telling the truth.
