Barbara Walters Presents "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010": Guess Who They Are?

Angelina Jolie, Sarah Palin, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Russell Brand, Hillary Clinton

On December 9th, ABC is reporting that they will be airing "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010," according to the network that brings you "Dancing With the Stars." The special, which will immediately follow Walters' hour-long interview with Oprah Winfrey is already starting the tongues a wagging with wonder: Who will be on Barbara's show?

Barbara Walter's Presents: Angelina Jolie, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga?

Barbara's "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010" code can't be that hard to break, in spite of ABC's hush-hush super secret demeanor. All one really has to do is make some informed guesses, right?

We know in the female section it will undoubtedly include a sit down with none other than Angelina Jolie. How could it not? The woman is an enigma, even if you don't approve of her husband-borrowing. She adopts orphans, she feeds the hungry, and seems as comfortable with a gun as she does a bottle. And Angelina Jolie refused dinner at the White House.

Barbara Walter's Specials: Sandra Bullock and motherhood? Sarah Palin? Hillary Clinton?

And then, of course, Barbara will most likely go with a controversial singer, too: Will it be Katy Perry or Lady Gaga?

Would wardrobe have to be pre-approved due to potential FDA violations? Would Sesame Street viewers be subjected to ads targeting the future appearance?

Walters will likely bring on a mom--Sandra Bullock and Baby Bardo comes to mind. Sandra and Barbara's last girl fest was right before the embarrassing Jesse James, Michelle Whats-her-name debacle. But Sandra will be a trooper and give it the ole college effort anyway.

Barbara may lean more in the "mom plus political" direction and invite Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton for a chat. Now wouldn't that be interesting?

The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010: Chilean miners, Glenn Beck, Bill Clinton?

Barbara Walter's ABC special list will likely also include an even number of fascinating men to garner those coveted television viewers. With the Chilean miners making their foray back into the news in a breathtaking rescue, I'm counting on someone from that group being included.

My money is on Mario Sepulveda, the miner who said, "God and the devil fought over me and God won."

Other men Americans might find fascinating will likely include a political person (Glenn Beck? Bill O'Reilly? or a former U.S. President, like Clinton?).

Of course, President Obama who is always game for a talk show might be a possibility...I'll pass if that is the case, as how many times can you listen to one person say the same thing over and over again?

The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010: Johnny Depp? Russell Brand?

Male actors likely to join the "still got it" talking tigress might include Johnny Depp or "My Booky Wooky 2" writer and Katy Perry fiance, Russell Brand--although I'm hoping not.

Men I would find fascinating for Barb to interview hail from California, too, but aren't likely on her "list": Charles "Chuck" Swindoll (the Sermonator) or John MacArthur. They are best-selling authors, who have huge fan lists, but I doubt Barbara reads their books.

ABC is slated to air the first of the "Back-to-Back Barbara Walters Specials" starting with Oprah Winfrey at 10 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thurs., Dec. 9th, and followed an hour later with Barbara's "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010." Let me know who you think will make Barbara Walter's ABC guest list this year?

I think some of your choices will make it, but not all of them.

Some of the contenders should be Bill Clinton, Hillary, Ellen, Michelle Obama,
Adam Lambert, but please Katy Perry, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Lady Gaga. If ABC has anything to say it won't be Adam as they have snubbed him for past year or so for awards.
