The Barbie Video Girl Doll has a built-in beginner level video camera that is very easy to use. All your girl needs to do is to look at the screen on Barbie's back, push the record button to begin recording, and push it again to stop.
After recording, your girl can edit her videos using the free editing software provided. She can add special effects, transitions and background music.
There are 3 different varieties of the Barbie Video Girl cam. There is the standard blonde-haired version, as well as a brunette and an African-American version. The doll is bendable which means Barbie can be put into all sorts of different posing positions.
The camera on the doll is very simple and easy to use. Outdoor shots come out very well, but indoor shots will need to be well lit as there is no flash. Videos are recorded at 320x240 resolution at 15Fps. There is a 256Mb memory card installed which can store up to 25-30 minutes of videos.
