COLOR
Pamper is a medium toned brown-copper, with an insane amount of well, glimmer. The sparkles in this are crazy and really detract from the true color. In order to get any opacity, at least four coats are necessary. And you better pat not blend; the glitter will get in your eyes making them really uncomfortable. However, once you get the layers, it is a brilliant color. It is really as bright and sparkly as a glitter or sequins. Yet, you get the hint of copper under it which makes this color really nice. Application is definitely messy, but this color really is breathtaking.
FORMULA
Since this is a Glimmer, it is expected to be super sparkly. We're not talking shimmer- we're talking straight-up glitter. Though, it does not have a chunky texture like Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. Since so many layers are needed to achieve any kind of color, the formula must have some problems. This is very silky, however, and the glitter cannot be felt, until it is in your eyes- ow!
FUNCTIONALITY
Since this is a loose shadow, application s messy and not very quick. All the extra layers also make this a challenge. I would not consider this an everyday kind of eyeshadow, but if you do like it, I would recommend MAC's Honesty as a good toned-down alternative. This is not a good on-the-go color, and is so sparkly in some lights, it looks like stage makeup. But, I am not complaining. Personally, I am not a huge fan of glitter, but I do like it in some products, this is one of them. If it weren't for opacity issues, I would like this a lot more.
PACKAGING
The packaging, to me, is adorable. I don't know why, expect for the fact that it looks like a baby container of Mineral Veil. Unlike the Mineral Veil, however, this one has a good cap that ensures no powder falls out while it is closed. It does have the little sifter, which I take out, but can be useful for some.
PRICE
Glimmers go for $13 on sephora.com, ulta.com, Ulta stores, Sephora stores, bareescentuals.com, and wherever Bare Escentuals products can be found. For this $13, you get 0.02 oz, which is pretty good, not stellar. I do not think I would pay full price again, because you have to use a lot to get any color, therefore being used faster.
FINAL OPINIONS
I wouldn't really recommend this product because it is pretty unconventional and has some problems with being sheer and getting sparkles in your eyes. It is a brilliant color, when packed on, but not worth the $13. I actually don't think this color is for sale anymore, so it is really not worth looking into, but on the off chance you might want to, I would do an internet search for more information.
