While we are struggling to make it through these rough economical times, it is still important to give ourselves a break from our daily routines in order to rejuvenate our body and mind. Traveling is a great way to do just that. Taking a vacation will allow you to enjoy the memories that you will create for years to come. So where do you go when you are trying to pinch pennies? The good news is that there are five places you may want to consider before you give up on taking a vacation.

1. Banghkok, Thailand: In Bangkok you will be able to pay for a room, food, nd entertainment for about $15.00 per day, per person. There is no need to spend a lot of money on room when you will be busy sightseeing, shopping, and dining.
If you like to shop, you are going to love Bangkok. There is not much that you won't be able to find in Bangkok It is a shopper's paradise.
Aside from shopping, the food is fantastic. If you feel like buying some fresh produce, Bangkok also offers multiple local markets, which includes the famous Floating Market which is well worth checking out.
At night, there is just as many things to do s there is during the day. Bangkok actully has nightlife districts that fits everyone's interests. Of course if you do not feel like hitting the clubs, you can always go to a Thai Boxing match or a movie as well.
Before you leave, do not forget to take pictures of the temples that line the city. Some are new, some are old but all are beautiful.
Overall, Bangkok would be a great choice for travelers that enjoy the city life, as well as the historical charm.

2. Las Vegas, Nevada: When traveling to Las Vegas, you will always find great deals. They want you to come, due to the extensive gambling institutions that it offers. Even if you are not into gambling, you will still pay the same great prices that gamblers pay when you stay at one of the many resorts in Las Vegas.
Gambler or not, Las Vegas offers great deals on entertainment, including concerts and shows. There really is not much that Las Vegas does not offer. They also offer a wide variety of free activities that you can attend from circus acts, botanical gardens and wildlife habitats, all the way to art galleries, fashion shows, and light shows.

3. Dominican Republic: If you would like to be greeted by crystal blue waters, white sand lined beaches, tropical wildlife with hidden waterfalls, and horses awaiting to take you on great adventures, you should look into traveling to the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic offers a little bit of everything. Whether you are an outdoors person or someone who likes to just get away for the sake of relaxing and unwinding, book your tickets for the Dominican Republic. They offer great deals.

4. Prague, Czech Republic: Prague is a city of charm and history. There are many places to see while visiting. They offer a theatre district, as well as multiple museums and music clubs. You will also find a vast selection of restaurants to choose from.
Prague is not as hot as some of the other destinations, so it would be a better suited choice if you prefer a place to be a bit cooler. It has similar temperatures to those of Canada and hockey is also a popular sport in the Czech Republic as well.

5. Cambodia: Cambodia is not the first vacation spot that most people think of. It is a traveler's hidden secret to get away from the more tourist filled destinations. Vacationing in Cambodia is extremely reasonable. It is a very beautiful country with beaches, wilderness, ancient sites, and shopping markets that operate during the day and night. The dollar is very accepted and you will not have to exchange currency when you are vacationing in Cambodia, which means that you will not have to pay any exchanging rate fees.

While there are many locations to travel to for reasonable prices, these are some ideas for you to check out first. Each of these locations offers something different from the other and overall, you will not be disappointed.
