Unfortunately when my husband and I went away last weekend, I forgot my make up bag. I decided to pick up some replacement items from a department store. The colors in my regular brand were not available, so I decided to opt for something new and inexpensive to tide me over for a couple of days.
Love My Eyes Cream Eyeshadow Trio
I admit it! I am a sucker for cute packaging. Love My Eyes Cream Eyeshadow comes in a circle-shaped canister, and as the
name suggests, it has three colors.
The colors I chose were three different shades of brown (#2352 Cashmere); they appeared similar to what I would normally
wear.
When I went to apply the eyeshadow, I was met with a sticky mess. It had the consistency of a glue stick. Since there was
no applicator, I had to apply the shadow with my finger. Every time I attempted to rub some into my eyelids, the color would
stain my fingertips, and it took a good scrubbing to get my hands clean.
I still love the canister though. In fact, I plan on keeping it and using it as a jewelry container for when I travel.
Love My Face Powder Blush
Love My Face Powder Blush did not love my cheeks.
I bought Love My Face Blush because it was inexpensive, and the colors were cute.
The blush and highlighter (#256 Flushed) were not flattering at all. I am pale and the "Flushed" colors looked like a great match for my skin, but once I put it on, it was much brighter and harsher than I anticipated. The blush also had a cake-like feel and look.
Frankly I thought the name, "Flushed" fit the blusher and highlighter perfectly. It is exactly what should have been done to it.
Don't bother!
Bari Cosmetics Cream Eyeshadow Trio and Powder Blush did not "love my face" or "love my eyes." There is a difference between being inexpensive and being cheap. Bari Cosmetics makes a cheap looking product. The make up does not apply well or wear well.
The Love My Eyes and Love My Face product lines are perfect examples of "you get what you pay for."

Post a CommentFOUR TIMES I had to return to my local Wal-mart to exchange Mascara I believed to be BROWN #207 as stated on the container. Upon opening the product, it was very, very BLACK!!!! What gives? Needless to say, I will no longer buy your product and spread the word about your bogus labeling!!!
I can not find Bari,"Love My Nails" #510 Base/Top Coat or anyplace that carries Bari cosmetics LTD.
I use their Bari nail polish and it works great. I don't have any complaints to this company. I also use their eyeliner and it's perfectly fine.
my girlfriend uses bari nail polish and their lip gloss and she loves them so all you critics shut our pie hole
I used to use their lipsticks. They were like the ones from Wet N' Wild and N.Y.C. Cheap, but does the job. I'm using their Volume Mascara and it stinks. It seems a bit dry and I reapply quite a few coats of this messy tar goop, only to end up looking like Elvira. I think I'll stick to Wet N' Wild and N.Y.C.
I don't like cheap makeup products myself, but my step mom bought me some lip gloss made by Bari Cosmetics. I am in love with that stuff. It's very ooey gooey and stays on for ever. It shines very nicely. As for their products that go onto your face, I would never even attempt it. Cheap stuff scares me. I'm not sure how my skin would react to it.
P.S. The lipgloss is called "Creamsicle Lipgloss #1374." It's amazing!
I found the glitter sticks on walmart.com u can't order online but i did a store locater on the stores that had it in stock in my area and I found them in the store in peachtree city Ga..Not sure where ya from but try walmart.com....They r my fav too!!
I LOVE the lipgloss!
I have loved the glittersticks Love My Eyes colors forever! Now they are NO WHERE to be found....I especially like the lime green and pastel blue....the WalMarts don't carry it any more, or did they stop making them? Can't find on ebay either!
I've tried the lipstick, the nail polish and the eye liner and I for the price you pay it is is great. The lipstic color is natural and goes on like silk. The nail polish dries quickly and looks terrific. I cannot stand one nail color for two weeks, so whether I buy expensive or cheap nail polish, I do my nails every other day or less. Everything item I've tried has packed pounds for the bucks.
