Barkin' Doggie Biscuits - Product Review

When You Buy One Bag, Company Donates One Bag

Bobbi Leder
Barkin' Doggie Biscuits, based in Houston, does not just sell yummy natural dog biscuits; the company also donate one biscuit to a rescue group for each biscuit it sells. Barkin' Doggie Biscuits are made with human-grade ingredients so you can even share them with your dog.

These dog biscuits contain no by-products, artificial colors or flavors, and they come in three dog-gone good flavors.

FLAVORS/INGREDIENTS

  • Pucker Up!

The Humans Behind Barkin' Doggie Biscuits
After adopting Rocky, a yellow Labrador Retriever, and Zeus, a black Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner mix, from BARC (the Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care in Houston, TX), the lives of Annvi and Tobiah, were forever changed. They knew they wanted to do something to help dogs in rescue groups and shelters. After many discussions of "what" and "how," they came up with the idea of baking all natural biscuits and donating a biscuit for every biscuit sold.

Their generosity doesn't stop there though; Annvi and Tobiah volunteer at BARC in Houston on the weekends; and Annvi is even on the board of HAPI (the Homeless Animal Partnership Initiative).

DONATIONS
Donations are made quarterly and reach not just the greater Houston area, but nation-wide animal charities as well.

COST
The cost for a one pound bag is $11.99. If you'd like your dog biscuits shipped to you, there is a flat rate of $5.99 anywhere in the continental United States. If you live in Houston, TX you can buy a bag at the Heights Urban Dog Boutique or at the office of holistic veterinarian, Dr. Cooper.
