Barren
Here I will stop
writing my life
because you are not my life,
cannot be my life.
writing my life
because you are not my life,
cannot be my life.
You are stopping
everything.
Your kissing me has stopped
the flow of poetry.
Somewhere someone is
burning the fields
in faith
that something will grow.
