You can find Barry Bagels at 3301 West Central Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. Barry Bagels has the best bagels in town. To be fair Toledo is not a big bagel city like New York. I have not had a New York bagel in New York myself but I have been told by those that lived there and have that Barry Bagels actually is on par with the best bagels in New York City. Often Toledo food will be good for Toledo or the state but not good for other locations. For instance there San Marcos is the best Mexican food in the state but does not compare to the top Mexican in the border states. So it is nice to see that Toledo has something that can compete with the very best.
While it may not be able to beat all the bagel spots in New York one place I am sure Barry Bagels has New York beat is the price. Barry Bagels are very reasonably priced. To be a good bagel you have to be fresh and Barry Bagels are made fresh daily.
One of the most popular bagels they have at Barry Bagels is the jalapeno & cheese bagel. However if that is a little to spicy for you don't worry all the bagels are really good. You might expect Barry Bagels to only be open for breakfast but it is open all the way up to lunch because they also have sandwich which are on the bagels.
Some of the most popular sandwiches are corned beef & muenster on garlic bagel or the classic turkey. Barry Bagels also serves coffee which is also popular. Barry Bagels is good for kids. You can order take out if you are in a hurry. If you want to spend time here though and hang out like a coffee house Barry Bagels offers free wi-fi which is very useful if you have an electronic device like an ipod that uses wi-fi.
I would certainly recommend Barry Bagels in Toledo to anyone. Barry Bagels has great food at a great price so you cant lose. Barry Bagels is not just one of the best bagel places in Toledo as well as Ohio but it is the equal of the best bagel places in New York.
