Tips for the Starving Author
As entrepreneurs we often make the mistake of trying to do everything ourselves. This was a hard lesson for me to learn. We waste countless hours (and money) muddling our way through projects professionals can do in less time and much more professionally.
You might say, "I don't have a lot of money for graphic designers, photographers, or tax accountants." But you have writing skills. Barter your skills for services. Offer to write ad copy for your accountant or write an interview for your photographer in return for their professional services. It's a win-win situation.
