Denise
Are you tired of having to use up most of your cook and bake ware just to make a healthy meal for your family? Not to mention all the different cooking times it takes for each food. It gives you more work trying to make sure nothing burns, and cleaning up all those pots and pans . One way to eliminate all the work is to put all your eggs in one basket per se. Meaning, find a way to combine your basic foods into one grand recipe. This way you have one or two pan pots to clean. Moreover, you and your family will not miss out on any necessary basics in their diet. Here are some examples below on tasty recipes for your family.

Vegetable Lasagna

Luckily you won't need to precook the noodles before adding the other ingredients. However, to kick it up notches unknown to man or woman, you can cook it in a vegetable bouillon. You can simply use a pan with olive oil to sauté Onions, Garlic, Green Bell Peppers, Red and Yellow Peppers Mushrooms, Broccoli Florets, Mushrooms, Julienne Carrots and after it cools down a little fresh Spinach . To kick it up, you can crush some canned Fried Onion Rings in the Cheese .You can use regular Tomato Sauce or to thicken it up Tomato Puree with the sauce. It will be a lot of sauce, but the more the better. After you brown your Burger Meat, it should be added to the sauce. You can use Cottage of Ricotta Cheese , but make sure it is a large container. The trick is to add the vegetables to the cheese. Next you can still layer using Mozzarella Cheese alone. You can finish it off with the remaining sauce, cheese, Thyme and Olive Oil drizzled over the top. Here you have your dairy, fat, vegetables, and grain. Accompany it with a healthy drink of sweet Carrot Juice or Herbal Tea. Tomatoes were once said to be a fruit. So, there you have it your basic all-in-one.

Mega Super Salad

I've had the pleasure of sampling one of these salads and decided to come up with my own delicious version. For the Fruit and vegetable group you can use romaine and iceberg lettuce to begin with. Then, you can add Julienne Carrots, Radishes, fresh Spinach Leaves, Cucumbers, Red and Green Peppers. Next, add thin slices of Beef Stake Tomatoes or Cherry Tomatoes, Vidalia Onions, canned Mushrooms, Celery, Black Olives, and Hot Chili Peppers. For the bread group use your favorite croutons or make your own. The other salad called for tiny Shell Pasta, but make sure it is small pasta. For the meat group you can use Pepperoni, Chicken Caesar, Bacon, Tuna or the alternative meatless protein if vegan or vegetarian. Do not forget this last ingredient which is a cheese blend of American /Cheddar or Mozzarella /Cheddar. Use what ever cheese you love the most in your salad and top it off with your favorite dressing.

Vegetables To Stuff

The best vegetables to stuff are Beefsteak Tomatoes, Vidalia Onions, Bell Peppers, and Mushrooms. There are actual recipes where an Eggplant and a Potato can be stuffed. Bake the Potato with the skin, and sliced in half. Here I would use fresh Spinach, Yellow Onion, Bacon, Cheese and crushed Croutons on top when it is half way baked. Then when it is done it, pour cream of mushroom soup on top, and it is scrumptious. You should cut out the center of the onion and stir fry it's contents with Olive Oil, Thyme, Mushrooms, Browned Burger, Diced Red and Green Peppers. Cook Quinoa or Couscous in a Vegetable or meaty Bouillon of your choice. Then layer it with the grain , then top it with the vegetables and so on. Top it off with white Béchamel Sauce. The seeds should be taken out of the Bell Peppers and stuffed with Mushroom Rice ( which is White or Brown Rice with Cream of Mushroom Soup). Next you should add your meat and vegetables to it. You can do the same with Mushrooms and Eggplant to make your all-in-ones complete.
