Bath and Body Products for Kids

Laura Fleenor
There are many different kinds of bath and body products for kids these days. Making bath time fun makes many children want to take a bath and actually look forward to bath time. Children now have shampoos, conditioners, hair detangler, bubble bath, lotions and sunscreen made just for them.

Shampoos for kids usually come in bright colored bottles that look fun, and also come in great scents for kids like grape, blueberry, strawberry and so on. One of the best features for any of these products to have, is to be tear free. This means that if your child get the product in their eyes, it will not burn like traditional soaps and shampoos. Many children's shampoos are a shampoo and conditioner all in one, which makes it easier for parents to get their child's hair washed and conditioned quicker.

Soaps for kids now come in several different forms. Foam soap is often brightly colored and can be fun to play with for a few minutes between washing. Painting soaps can be a blast for children. Painting soaps many times come in stick form, and you child can use them to draw things on the wall of the bath tub. Just make sure they know that this is the only time they can write on the walls!

Bubbles have always been a big hit in my household. My daughter would like to have bubbles in her bath every night. When buying bubble bath for your child, it is best to get dye free, clear bubble baths. Girls are especially prone to getting urinary tract infections from using bubble baths, so do not let them use it every night.

Hair detangler for kids is a regular household item in our family. My daughter will not let us brush her hair without using detangler first. Hair detanglers for kids also come in fun looking bottles, and great scents for kids. Children with long hair will grow to love this product, because it helps to detangle the hair, thus causes them less pain. I wish they would have had hair detangler when I was a child!

In closing, manufacturers have done well with providing and promoting bath and body products for children. If you have a child, chances are you have purchased several of these children's products or your child has asked for them. I appreciate children's products, and hope they keep them coming!
