Bath and Body Works Bubble Bath in Black Raspberry Vanilla: A Review

Alexis Valentine
Bath and Body Works has some nice bath and body products, which is to be expected since they specialize in this area. The prices are higher than most bath products you'd find at Wal-Mart or Target but they're one of those bath stores that sells luxury bath and body items, not everyday bath and body products. I don't usually shop at this store because I'm just not the type of girl that enjoys it. I do occasionally stop in to pick up generic bath gifts for relatives I don't know very well, or I'd go in to browse and smell their products. Yes, I'm a smeller. I did recently stop into Bath and Body Works to pick up a bottle of bubble bath though and ended up leaving with a few extra items.

The bubble bath I got was one recommended by a sales associate. She was very friendly and helpful and was right, their Black Raspberry Vanilla bubble bath did smell amazing. I liked the scent so much I bought a bottle to try out. I had been having one of those weeks and was in dire need of some rest and relaxation and what better way to do that than with bubble baths. I can't even begin to describe how lovely Bath and Body Works' Black Raspberry Vanilla bubble bath smelled. It smelled even better out of the bottle but still stayed light enough for those with a sensitive nose, like me.

This was my first experience with bubble bath so I have nothing to compare it to but I thought my Black Raspberry Vanilla bubble bath created a lot of bubbles and the bubbles lasted about a few hours before it completed died out. I didn't even have to use much product, about a cap maybe two cap full. The cap to the bottle is a nice press to open one but I preferred using the cap to measure out the bubble bath gel. Not only did it smell wonderful but it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized too.

The only negative thing about Bath and Body Works' Black Raspberry Vanilla bubble bath is the price, at least it was for me. Even though I found the price a bit high I would still buy this product again, and not just because of the scent but because it's a good product. Since I didn't need to use much gel for my bubble bath I have a feeling I'll have this bottle for quite a while before I'd have to buy another one. So in the end $12 for a 10 oz. bottle is actually inexpensive.
