Bath and Body Works Shower Gel: Japanese Cherry Blossom Review

Bath and Body Works is a store that specializes in bath and body products. Most of the products that this store sells are products under their own brand but they do have a few products by other brands sold in there store, one brand I noticed was Victoria's Secret. Although they sell bath stuff they only offer products that are body related. As far as I know they don't sell shampoos and conditioners, but they sell everything else. The Bath and Body Works selection ranges from shower gels, body scrubs and lotions to hand soap and hand sanitizers. I don't shop at Bath and Body Works often but recently I dropped by to pick up a bottle of bubble bath but ended up buying a few other items too.

One of the items I bought from Bath and Body Works was their shower gel in their Japanese Cherry Blossom scent. A 10 oz. bottle cost me $10.50 which is more than what I typically spend on bath products but after trying it out I figured the price basically works out to be about the same as my every day bath products that I'd get from Wal-Mart or Target. The Japanese Cherry Blossom scent is nice, soft and clean. It's not over powering and it doesn't change in the shower. I've noticed that with some shower gels the scent will become much stronger in the shower. I'm not sure if it's the water or the heat that causes this.

Bath and Body Works' Japanese Cherry Blossom is definitely moisturizing, and not just when it's being used but I've noticed how soft and moisturized my skin feels after I get out of the shower. Which is good for me because I don't usually wear body lotion unless I have to. The scent doesn't linger on my skin after I'm out of the shower which is something I prefer, especially if I plan on wearing scented body lotion or perfume. I just don't want to come off smelling like too many things and combined scents can turn very wrong.

I also liked that the shower gel creates a lot of lather and I didn't have to use much shower gel to get myself completely cleaned. In the end my 10 oz. bottle will lasts me much longer than a regular body wash that I'd get at Wal-Mart. So as I said before the price pretty much evens out.

Bath and Body Works' Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel is a great product and definitely worth the money, even more so because it will lasts longer than a regular Dove or Caress body wash. I would buy this product again and recommend it.
