Batman 3 Rumors: New Villains
Another hot rumor is returning Catwoman to the franchise. As if that wasn't hot enough the names being thrown about are about as good as they get. Maggie Gylenhall has been mentioned which would throw a crazy plot twist in the third film. But the scorcher of the names thrown about is none other than Angelina Jolie herself donning the latex suit.
Other nemesis being thrown around are the return of the Penguin. I've heard a very interesting rumor about this role. Phillip Seymour Hoffman and his Oscar will be up for the role should the script include the cold squat enemy of the Batman. In my opinion I would like to see the guy who played the dwarf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy as the next Penguin.
These are the rumor floating around but how about a few new rumors to keep the fire burning. I know the Chris O'Donnell robin in that crappy Batman flick sickens everyone but I think a darker Robin via Christopher Nolan's direction would be right up the alley of the Dark Knight fans.
Another cool character to consider is Bane who literally broke Batman. This would have to be played by a muscular type with some acting chops. That pretty much rules out Vin Diesel but an interesting option might be Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock). I think he could play a good Bane.
It appears as if we will see Two Face back in the next Batman. The Dark Knight will have his hands full with villains in the next movie that much is for certain. The movie is still in the theaters and the hype for the third movie is unreal. Names of top actors are being thrown around and roles are being cast (at least by the fan boys). I guess we will just have to wait but the guessing is worth every bit of the fun.

for those against robin, here is a way he could fit in to the next batman. wayne could have to attend a meeting in a different city and have an opening for a little robin action. not like him take over the movie, just one scene where you dont really see him but he sees the villian of the movie or someone that is wanted and pulls a batman were he beats them up and leaves them on the police departments steps and then when wayne gets back he sees on the news what had happened and gets angry at himself for not being the one to do it. you know how he was in tdk with the guy in hockey pads lol but he trys harder. when he is on one of his outings as wayne he sees someone getting mugged and then saved by someone but they stay in the dark you see flashes of red and then wayne walks out to get a better look but they are gone the thug tied up in the road. and wayne cuts a piece of the rope and takes it to the bat cave or replacement batcave whichever he has in this one. and then traces the mater

Maybe we are looking at this the wrong way? I have read my of the articles about WB wanting to use new-never before seen villians and not the ones used before. How about Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter? What does everyone think?
