Batman, Captain Marvel, Buck Roger, Superman Items Worth Big Money

Did you know vintage items featuring these characters are quite valuable?
Batman
The caped crusader was born in a May 1939 issue of Detective Comics. Since then, children and adults have fallen in love with the dark character.
Some of the most valuable collectible pieces include 1942 war bonds of Batman and Robin; a 1943 Batman serial poster; a 1943 Batman comic strip mask and 1944 Batman and Robin tattoo transfer sheets. These items are valued at $1,000 and up.
Some items with high values were made in the 1960s including a Batman Playset by Sears and a 1969 Burry's Cookies Batmobile dimensional sign.
Bat props from TV and film features, serials and TV movies continue to grow in value.
Some other items ranging from $200-$1,000 in value to keep an eye on are a 1966 utility belt and buckle, Ideal Playset box (date unkown) and a 1966 Batman Premium poster.
Also seeking Batman comics from the 1940's as well as ones that introduced new characters such as the Penguin in Detective Comic #58 or The Riddler in #140.
Captain Marvel
Billy Batson just said the magic words and became Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel came about in the 1940s and because less items were made of this character, the values are very high.
The first item ever made was a whistle called "The Power Siren". It has a value of about $5,000. Puzzles sell for about $2,000 in auction and 1940s statues can sell up to $4,000.

A set of three unused color and paint books are valued at $3,000; EZ Code finder with mailer up to $3,500 value; a 1948 shirt or sweatshirt with large pin is about $2,000 and a 1946 Captain Marvel paint set is valued at $1,500.
Some of those items cost 10 cents to purchase in their heyday. Ouch!
Buck Rogers - 25th Century
Buck came from an Amazing Stories magazine in the 1920s. His comic strip began in the 1930s. About 80 years later and his items are blazing hot collectibles. If you see any vintage Buck Rogers items at a reasonable price, buy it now as it continues to rise in value.
Some high valued items include tin rocket ships, a police patrol and an Interplanetary Space Fleet. These easily sell for $4,000.
Do you remember the rocket pistol guns? They are worth $750 used or $2,500 new in box.
Some other items to watch for include a disintegrator gun valued at $3,000; a 1936 Scout Manual valued at nearly $1,000 and a Buck Rogers 1936 Battle of Mars Cannon which can go up to $4,000 in value.
Superman
Who doesn't like Superman? He first appeared in Action Comics in 1938.
The first five issues sold at auction several years ago for $17,000. Don't you wish you could find those in your basement?
Some items such as a 1941-43 cartoon standees, Superman Pep die-cut store designs of 1945 and original art are valued around $30.000. You may not have any of those in your basement, but how about these?
A 1940 Superman costume is worth $5,000; a superman Tim Club Ring can bring in up to $2,000 in very good condition. Superman celluloid pins are in the $2,000 range. Superman Deluxe Coloring books from the 1940's unused are worth about $200 apiece. A 1940 Superman Krypto-raygun is worth $3,000.
There are many more items from these great characters around with nice money values. Keep your eyes peeled and think about having your children take good care of their collectible character toys today. Who knows what they may be worth in 30 years?
